In a recent interview, Chris Tucker explains how Africa changed his life:

Y’know, I used to brush my teeth with Evian water and Figi water because I don’t want to use the sink water and I don’t do that anymore, because I have seen these things and going to Ethiopia, seeing a room full of infants, babies and some of them blind and most of ‘em was crying and I said, ‘What can I do?

I’m guessing Terrence Howard isn’t the only one passing the baby wipes.

A “non-marijuana smoking” Chris Tucker tells Playboy Magazine about an encounter with some young neighbors:

“Two white teenagers came to my house. I don’t get too much company, so I looked out the peephole. I was in my housecoat. I had a do-rag on my head. They said, ‘We’re your neighbors. Do you want to smoke some weed?’ Then they started quoting from Friday. ‘It’s Friday. You ain’t got no job! You ain’t got s— to do!’ So I’ve got neighbors’ kids knocking on my door, looking to smoke weed with Smokey.”

That’s hilarious. It actually sounds like it could be a scene in a movie. With that said, “Afroman”, the dude known for that song “Because I Got High”, can add filmmaker to his list of credentials. Joseph “Afroman” Foreman is working on his first film titled Waiting to Inhale a spoof of the 1995 “when a woman’s fed up” movie of the decade Waiting to Exhale.  As lame as it sounds, it sounds like it might be worth watching especially for all of you that enjoy movies like Friday, How High, and Harold and Kumar Go to Whitecastle.

Usher and his 40 something, mother-like fiancee Tameka Foster, were spotted at the Grand Opening Weekend of The Cove Atlantis on Paradise Island in The Bahamas. How “sweet”, it’s just like hugging mama. Doesn’t Tameka Foster look a little crazy?

CHRIS Tucker may be having problems on the set of “Rush Hour 3,” but his personal life is looking up. The star is dating soul singer India.Arie, according to spies. “They traveled together to South Africa over the holidays for Oprah Winfrey’s party and school opening,” said our source, “and they were also together at Mary J. Blige’s pre-Grammy party at Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s house in L.A.” Tucker’s rep said, “Not that I’ve heard.”

Interesting couple. Just goes to show that sometimes you have to look ‘outside of the box’ to find that special someone and there is nothing wrong with that. We wish them the best!!

Are there not enough great black actresses to play opposite to black actors?

In Chris Tucker’s latest venture, titled “Gangster M.D.”, Tucker plays a….well, gangster pretending to be a….well, Doctor. It is based on a Bollywood hit screenplay, and an opposite, preferably Indian is being sought as a love interest for Tucker.

Why are most roles that involve african american male actors either, gang or hustler related? Why not a black love interest? What kind of message are we sending?

Sorry, I had to vent. I like Chris Tucker and I respect trying to earn a dollar or two, but sometimes you gotta ask the whats and why?
