Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds marriage might not be legit after their ceremony in Bora Bora Tuesday. The law there states that each person in the couple needs to be a resident of the region for at least thirty days to make the marriage valid.

Oh well, so much for that. If they were smart they would just get a courthouse hook up when they get back to the states. If they don’t all of you who thought this couple was suspect from the jump may be correct.

And the actor has already found his flagship artist – none other than Karrine ‘Superhead” Steffans, author of “Confessions of a Video Vixen.” According to sources, Steffans plans on releasing her debut album in March. No title for the album has been released as yet.

Superhead as a singer? Let’s see if her mouth is good for anything besides, well, you know.

Gatecrasher is reporting that Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife and Michael Strahan’s new chick Nicole was getting real close to Lisa Raye’s husband Michael Misick at recent events. Via NY Daily News:

Misick and Murphy were thisclose at the opening of the Mediterranean Village at Sandals’ Grande Antigua resort and Mrs. Misick did not attend. Our spies say the premier’s bodyguard made sure there were no photos taken of the two. And he did a great job: neither WireImage, the event’s official photographer, nor Access Hollywood, who did a segment on the launch, mentioned either of them being there. But other guests said the pair seemed especially chummy on Friday, Oct. 5, during a party at the Cricketer’s Arms, a pub on the property. And some folks started whispering when friendly kisses were exchanged.

“It’s funny – if you didn’t know better, you would have thought they were together.”

He probably was lured in by all the fake breasts Nicole had hanging out at Lisa Raye’s 40th birthday party. It’s a damn shame what veiny ass cheek cleavage can do to a marriage.

Divorcees Nicole Murphy and Michael Strahan hit up the 1 year anniversary for The Boy Genius Report last night in NYC. They look happy as hell, getting rid of those tranny lover/swirl love relationships was a good look.

We don’t think we’ve seen her, Tracey Edmonds, or even Mel B for that matter smile like that when with Eddie Murphy and he’s a comedian. She’s probably smiling because she doesn’t have to wear a strap-on in this relationship.

Tracey Edmonds recently discussed her wedding coming up with People Magazine. We don’t care about that boring stuff:

“While the wedding planning is a joint effort, Murphy, 46, and Edmonds also plan to collaborate in a more public way soon – on a film that Edmonds is producing for her fiancé.

We’ve got a couple different things with each other we’re working on,” Murphy revealed. One tentative project includes a comedy costarring Chris Tucker. “I have two comedies,” Edmonds explained, adding, “We are actually doing a lot of things.“

Well, we guess this is one way to upgrade from BET movies. You must don’t know Tracey if you think Eddie’s tranny date and baggage is going to stop her career game.

John Singleton was spotted at the premiere of “Illegal Tender” in New York yesterday. During a recent interview to promote the film, he shared his views on African American films and filmmakers:

There’s nothing but comedies, and I’m tired of all these Black men in dresses. Every other movie has a Black man in a dress, from the Madea movies to Norbit to Big Momma. How come nobody’s protesting that? They call them family movies, and nobody’s telling the little kids that it’s kind of different for a man to wear a dress. I’m just saying that it comes to a point where, if that’s the only types of images they’re seeing, how is that informing upon Black men in America? It’s as if all we can do is make people laugh and play basketball.

Singleton may be right. Most of our black actors are still shucking and jiving for that Hollyweird dime. There seems to be a fat drag trend going on in these movies and we think Eddie should leave the drag where it belongs. In his bedroom.

How did we miss the iced out wedding ring Mel B has been sporting on her middle finger?

According to reports, Mel B has pulled a fast one on the press and despite gushing to the media that she wanted to one day marry producer Stephen Belafonte, wedding documents show that she has already put the lock down on him in a Vegas style wedding back in June.

Stephen must have put the “pa-dow” on Scary Spice because the singer wasted no time finding a replacement daddy. Now that the cat’s out of the bag, that’s one more thing she can throw up in the tranny lover’s face.
