Foxy’s Free

Foxy Brown & Judith Marchand

Foxy Brown was released from jail today:

“As soon as she was released from prison, she was greeted by her mother Judith Marchand and lawyer New York City Councilman Charles Barron, as well as hundreds of reporters and fans, some with posters and pink balloons, others with ‘Free Foxy Brown’ T-shirts. Brown wore a leather jacket, jeans, a black shirt, designer pumps and a stylish Fendi designer doo rag over her hair.

Brown’s entourage arrived in a fleet of luxury vehicles that included three Rolls Royce’s, a number of SUV’s and a Maybach, that was filled with clothes. Her family, friends, managers and a hair stylist and makeup artist were all part of the group of people that greeted Brown.”

Wow. Sounds like Inga had quite a welcoming party. LMAO at her hair and make up stylist being front and center at the gates (time to touch-up those roots!!!). Congrats to Foxy for getting out of jail. They might as well save all the party favors, posters and what-not. It’s only a matter of time before she lands her crazy ass back up at Rikers again.

Foxy Brown Set Free

Foxy Brown

Hold on to your hats. More drama is bound to be under way. Inga’s been let loose:

Foxy will be free after serving a 241 day prison term for violating her probation, thanks to a 2004 assault charge, she has more legal woes to fight through.

Her manager revealed that she is due back in court on May 5th to answer for an incident where she’s accused of assaulting her neighbor with her Blackberry phone, which led to her probation violation and incarceration. The case is still pending.

Brown will also have to answer to charges of battery and obstruction of justice in Florida, stemming from an incident at a South Beach beauty supply store in February 2007 where she allegedly spat and squirted hair glue at the owner after she was asked to leave.

In between dealing with court, Foxy will also get back to her career. After being released, she will gear up for the release of her fourth studio album, Brooklyn’s Don Diva.

The album was initially was set for release February, but was pushed back [to May 13th], pending the rapper’s release.

She is rumored to begin filming a reality show as well.

Damn, this b**chs’ life is hectic. We hope she didn’t break that Blackberry when she chucked it at that chick, because she’s going to need it. You know, someone really needs to hook her up with Naomi.

Incarceration = Success?

foxy in jail

While marinating up at Rikers, Foxy Brown is preparing to star in her own reality show on VH1. It’s the typical, and pitiful, D-List formula: Cameras roll as they document the hapless wannabe hip-hop diva as she goes about her everyday life. Will it perchance document Inga’s impending hearing loss? That remains to be seen.

Is She Serious?

Foxy Brown Court

Foxy Brown is afraid she might lose her hearing completely:

Foxy Brown returned to court in New York on Thursday to determine if she needs medical treatment for an ear condition. She is not due for release from New York’s Riker’s Island prison until September, but wrote to Judge Melissa Jackson on Tuesday, claiming she is in danger of losing her hearing if she is not treated by a specialist in California. Brown was called before Supreme Court Judge Jackson, and ordered to be examined by a doctor from New York City’s Department of Health and Mental hygiene to determine the severity of her condition. She will discover if her plea has been granted on January 31.

Here she goes pulling that ‘deaf’ card again. We know she’s hard of hearing but this is going a wee bit too far. That mental hygiene check is really what she needs.

Crazy Finds Christ

FoxyfindsGod

Psycho diva Foxy Brown showcased a new side to herself during an appearance in a New York court Monday. Replacing the high-end fashion for a business suit, Inga demonstrated a warmer side to her usual persona. Foxy told her attorney:

‘Sometimes God has to humble you in order for you to realize who you actually are. “When you get away from the glitz and glamour, you can find inner peace within yourself.”

Good for you Foxy. It’s easy to calm down when your surrounded by b*tches that are crazier than you.

Inga Rewarded for Good Behavior

Foxy Brown Out of Solitary

Looks like Foxy Brown will serve only 40 days out of her 76 day scheduled time in solitary confinement. She was released back into the regular jail community for “good behavior”.

Her crazy ass better act like she got some sense in there before that Brooklyn’s Don Diva release date moves again from February 5, 2008 to non-existent.

Here is the cover for Foxy Brown’s new CD that supposed to be dropping in December. That’s a pretty decent photoshop job.  The way they got all that crazy weave to lay down so flat is quite impressive.

Well, it seems as if the Ill Na Na is getting a lot more attention now that she has been incarcerated. Now Inga’s manager, Chaz Williams, is claiming that her issues while locked up have all been misunderstandings:

“There was an incident where a girl attempted to confront her and she stood her ground, but there wasn’t any contact. Words were exchanged and that was it.” He also claims that the drug test incident was a result of Foxy’s hearing problems. “Really she didn’t hear the request. She has a battery-operated device and sometimes it dies out.” Williams went on to say that by the time Foxy realized what she was being asked to do, officials had already decided on disciplinary action.

Wow, we didn’t even know that Foxy was hard of hearing, but that’s still no excuse for being a crazo.

Random Ridiculousness: Foxy Pleads Not Guilty/ Lawyer Drops Out

Posted by Bossip Staff

foxybrown2111.jpg

Crazo Foxy Brown has plead non-guilty to charges that she busted her neighbor upside the head with her BlackBerry finally after refusing to show up to previous court dates. And now her defense attorney, Alan Stutman has asked off of her case because his wife was threatened by a strange man in the lobby of their Brooklyn building.

The man ran up to her and said, “How can a beautiful woman like you be beaten up?” then left.

Her lawyer is scared because of that? Either something is real fishy or this is just some random ass sh*t.

Foxy Brown was taped while rapping in jail:

“We Don’t Surrender,” she raps: “Since I got my hearing back, all I hear is Foxy this and Foxy that. Bitch please, I’m in my Louis Capris, overseas in Belize, ignoring the small [bleep]. So, hop off my [bleep], I got a 32-shot clip aimed at Page Six.”

Game over, it’s a wrap, she should just focus on her mental health. Poor thang.

Random Ridiculousness: Foxy Brown Multi-tasking in Jail

Posted by Bossip Staff

foxybrown-naomicampbell-blackberryoffenders.jpg

Looks like Inga is actually getting a lot done while locked up. She has a new album dropping next month, Brooklyn Don Diva, and is also communicating with her fans via new website http://www.freefoxybrown.com. She states:

“I devoted my career to building an affinity with my fans who have supported me unflinchingly and no barbed wire fence or prison wall will stop that. I am in great spirits and very focused, and needed a forum to communicate to the people.”

Well if she were only in great spirits and focused a few years ago she might not be in this situation. That’s great that she has the internet available to her, hopefully there’s no access to a BlackBerry. Free Foxy Brown, SMH, like she has been wrongfully accused of something.

Fu*kin For Tracks in Rikers

Posted by Bossip Staff

foxybrown3.jpg

Speaking of “pregnant for publicity” rumors, word is the not-pregnant Foxy Brown will be releasing an album Brooklyn’s Don Diva in November of this year. Inga, who is now signed to KOCH, will still be locked up when her album drops.

Foxy must have a tad bit of clout over there at KOCH, because there a bunch of free female artists walking the streets right now with non-existent album release dates.

What the Ill Na Na has to say on her being at Rikers:

“This is just a temporary situation. I made my bed and have no problem lying in it. My will is steady. What doesn’t kill me will only make me stronger. I think there are greater injustices in America that require our immediate attention, like what’s going on in Jena, Louisiana. I will not surrender. I’m fine. Free Jena 6!”

Wow, she almost sounds mature. Click Here to listen to the “Free Jena 6″ track posted on Allhiphop.

Quote of the Day: Kulcha Don

foxybrownkulchadon.JPG

Foxy Brown’s ex-boyfriend, dancehall artist Kulcha Don recently made statements clarifying that he is not the father of Inga’s unborn child:

“I am definitely not the father. I heard that she is three months pregnant. She and I broke up almost six months ago. I want to make it clear that despite the rumours and all the things being said, I am not the father of Foxy Brown’s unborn child. Foxy is going through a lot of things right now, and I just wish her all the best. She is a very spiritual woman and she goes to her church every Sunday.”

Ok there goes another one pulling the “I Go to Church” card. But that still doesn’t help us in the who knocked up and plans to marry Foxy Brown mystery. Well as long as she knows who the father is and is secure in trusting him to hold it down for her while her crazy ass is locked up for a year then it’s all good.

Foxy Brown as Lil Kim: Gets 1 Year Prison Sentence in Rikers

Posted by Bossip Staff

foxybrown211.jpg

Foxy made sure she kept on the trail of Lil Kim and was sentenced to 1 year in prison today. Via TMZ:

Foxy Brown will spend the next year in jail for violating her probation — and she’s going straight back to a cell on Rikers Island, where she’s spent the last two weeks. TMZ was in the courtroom when it all went down, and Judge Melissa Jackson slammed Foxy’s pleas for mercy, calling her a “great actress,” and saying that if this were the first time she’d apologized, she might be believable, but not now. We’re told that Foxy was visibly distraught by the verdict, and her mother refused to talk to reporters outside. Foxy originally was sentenced to the probation after an assault on two employees at a nail salon in Manhattan.

Outside the courtroom, cops from New Jersey — where she allegedly lied to cops about her birthdate and state of residence — told TMZ that she got what she deserved. Interesting note: if she serves the full term, Foxy will give birth in prison.

With all that ‘Bang Bang’ sh*t she was talking on the CNN track against Kim, we have a feeling she is going to tuck her weave in and crawl in a corner while she does her time. That rack of hers may draw some unneeded attention by the showers. Poor thang.

Foxy Brown who is in jail was heard screaming down the cell block:

“I want commissary! I want potato chips!”

Foxy’s former cell-mate tells the NY Post:

“Her hair looks like whoever did it ran. That’s how much the weave is coming apart”
