Halle Berry, who announced she was knocked up a couple of weeks ago, was spotted on the streets recently looking great. Pregnant chic is definitely a good look for Ms. Berry. Even her legs are looking better in these shots. Let’s just hope she doesn’t turn into a scary monster in her third trimester like most pregnant women do.

The old and bangin’ Aretha Franklin recently spoke with People Magazine about her weight problems. During the interview, she said although Jhud read for a part to play her in movie based on her life, she has an interest in getting Halle Berry to play her.

While Halle’s belly is swollen, it may be time to start shooting the movie. At least the parts towards the end.

Who should play Aretha? Jhud, Tasia, or Halle Berry? King Latifah should probably be reading the script.

TMZ has learned that producers of the upcoming Lionsgate film “Tulia” have scrapped plans to start filming in October — as the film’s star, Halle Berry, is three months pregnant!

A source close to the production tells us Berry, 41, who is currently dating hottie model Gabriel Aubrey, was set to star in the movie about the drug and racial profiling scandal in Tulia, Texas. The film, which was scheduled for a 2008 release, was to be directed by John Singleton and also starred Billy Bob Thornton. We’re told the project has not been shelved entirely; producers may decide to pick it up at a later date.

Reps for Berry and Lionsgate did not immediately return our calls for comment.

The Oscar winner has confirmed she is expecting her first child with Gabriel Aubry, her model boyfriend of almost two years. “Yes, I am three months’ pregnant,” Berry told Access Hollywood. “Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I’ve waited a long time for this moment in my life. Now, the next seven months will be the longest of my life!”

Halle Berry recently went shopping in LA and she dragged Gabriel along to pick out some towels and candles. When a salesperson approached them to see if they needed help, Halle declined. The National Enquirer says,

“She told him: ‘No Thanks. He needs to learn how to do these things himself! You men suddenly get all helpless when it comes to domestic stuff. And that just doesn’t cut it with me!’” “The total was over $1,000,” the source said. “At first Gabriel just stood there. Until Halle said: ‘Well, you certainly don’t think I’m paying!’” Gabriel fumbled for his wallet and quickly broke out a black American Express card and gave it to the clerk.

Halle probably sees Gabriel as her pretty dog that she walks around. A guy she can punk and won’t hurt her. It won’t be much longer before this K-Fraud 2.0 joins the team. Halle is probably starting to think what we have been saying all along.

The philosopher Halle Berry recently commented on what she thinks is vital to a happy life and says she loves sex. She adds:

“When you are in love it’s one of the most important things. The others are family, knowledge. Laughter and passion. My passion is acting.”

I like how the source of the article follows up with her quote with:
