Janet Jackson was spotted at Japan’s Narita International Airport today. She’s on a 3 day tour to promote her newest album, “Discipline”. Ms. Jackson has been looking a little out of sorts these days. Perhaps she’s under stress, with her whole family going bankrupt and all. Being the only employed Jackson in the bunch, we hope she keeps a kung-fu grip on them stacks.

Janet Jackson was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital with the shortness of breath late last night. Apparently, she has the flu.

“Janet is fine. She’s just battling this flu like everyone else.”

Probably doesn’t help that she’s all over the place promoting her #1 Billboard album Discipline. Hopefully, her little JD is on deck with some soup to nurse her back to health.

Janet Jackson is featured in the April ’08 issue of Ebony magazine where she chats about what she loves about Jermaine Dupri, why she’s not retiring, and creative people who fascinate her:

“I love his intelligence, how smart he is, how talented he is, his heart. And not necessarily in that order. Obviously we have a lot in common. But these are the things that really make me smile. And when he really, really smiles his true smile, I just love it. It’s beautiful. He’s just a beautiful person.”

“I’m not ready to retire. I enjoy what I do, and I don’t think it is time for me to kick back on an island and do nothing all day. I don’t want to do that just yet. I don’t know if I’ll ever be ready to do that. I just love music, just love working with the kids. I’m not bored with it. I’m not tired of it. That’s what keeps me going.”

“I love Al Pacino, and I sit back and watch him in certain scenes, or other actors in certain scenes and this electrifying energy goes through me and I know I can do that. Or I see a visual, and that’s when I start calling Gil.”

Janet Jackson was spotted leaving Katsuya restaurant last night in Hollyweird looking a little Latoya-ish. Of course, not as bad as Latoya, but possibly on her way if she doesn’t leave the knives alone. Her body is definitely on point though.

Janet Jackson hit up the Virgin Megastore in Hollyweird to promote her new album “Discipline”. There just seems to be something about Janet that doesn’t want to grow up. I mean still not mature enough for kids? She must want to start having babies at the age of 50.

Janet also went on Larry King to discuss opening for her brothers on tour:

“I would love to do it. I get my brothers on the phone all the time. I’m the biggest fan of the the Jackson Five. I have conference calls all the time pushing them to do a huge tour. I tell them if they did, I would love to open for them. They would love to, but one of them is on the fence. You have to respect that. Michael’s worked very hard at his solo career. I don’t know. Maybe he’ll come around. I’m still kind of working on him.”

What would a Jackson 5 tour be without Michael? They need his ass for that show to be successful.

Aww, true or not, we really hope it works out for Janet and Jermaine, even though she has stated repeatedly that she will never get married again. Third time is the charm and she needs to pop out some little mini-JDs before it’s too late.

Janet Jackson reflects on a memory in a recent Parade interview:

“When I was 16, I was promoting my first album and I went with Mother to see The Time’s concert with Prince. I did not want to sit next to Mother because I knew they were dirty. I was trying to be cool and calm, but oh my God, I was sweating bullets! How am I going to sit at this show and watch Vanity Six and Prince and The Time and sit next to Mother? She’s going to think, ‘Good Lord, what is my baby into? She really needs more of God in her life! Where did I go wrong?’ I could just hear Mother blaming herself for everything! Luckily, I got someone else to swap seats with me so I was able to enjoy the show and have the same great time I would’ve had if I were there without Mother.”

“Mother” that just sounds creepy on some Mommy Dearest ish. Not my mother or my mom, but just “Mother”. No wonder those Jackson kids are all screwed up.

Janet Jackson on her past heartaches:

“After two divorces, I thought I was jinxed: ‘Maybe marriage isn’t for me? Maybe it’s my fault it never works.’ “I was always faithful. I always tried to give of myself. I was very loyal. But maybe I’m the problem. I’m to blame. It was awful, and I was so tired of being hurt.”

Damn, she’s still crying about that sh*t. Hopefully Jermaine is helping boost up that non-existent self-confidence of hers and give up hope of possibly seeing some baby midget swag in their offspring.

Prestige: There are conflicting reports of Jermaine being your boyfriend, your fiancé or your husband.

Janet: We’re not married. I call him my boyfriend. Jermaine calls me his wife, I’ve heard him say that as well . . . But not yet. I don’t know if that will ever happen. Maybe, I really don’t know.
