What kind of stroller did Beyonce get from pal Gwyneth Paltrow? A Bugaboo, naturally!

Paltrow was among the very first to tweet about the birth of her BFF Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy in early January — and the actress, 38, knew just what to gift the chanteuse and her bundle of joy.

Paltrow treated Beyonce and husband Jay-Z to a Cameleon stroller by Bugaboo, boasting a dark gray base and off-white fabric; the posh baby-transporter retails for $979. (As it happens, Beyonce, 30, scored one of many smash singles with Destiny’s Child in 1999 with the song “Bugaboo,” about a male suitor who just doesn’t know when to give up.)

But here’s a question: what the hell are Beyoncé and Jay-Z going to do with a stroller? That child is not going to see the light of day until she already knows how to walk, or maybe she won’t even need to walk because she’ll be carried aloft on a platform everywhere she goes. Actually, maybe they could use it to push the baby around inside her 2,200-square-foot nursery.

Either way, props to the Gwenny for the nice gesture. Do you think the gift was excessive?

He projected the clip for N***** In Paris, from his joint album with Jay-Z, on to the side of a train station.

People trudged down there in the cold after word spread on Twitter that he’d be playing a gig – or at least giving one of his ridiculous, rambling speeches.

But they were disappointed when the rap Zoolander, who moved to London at the beginning of the year to work on his fashion range, didn’t make an appearance.

He was probably busy working on his latest Derelicte clothing collection. Where are you Yeezy!?!

An insider tells us the booty-licious mama skipped Hova’s historic show because their infant daughter, Blue Ivy Carter , wasn’t feeling well. The baby must have made a quick recovery because Beyoncé kicked back at the after-party until about 4 a.m. Shortly after the booty-licious mama arrived at her husband’s 40/40 Club for post-concert festivities Monday night, we asked her if she’d gone to the show.

“Yes,” she told us, calling her spouse’s concert “amazing.”

“She arrived with her mother, Tina Knowles ,” and her mother-in-law, Gloria Carter. After “sprinting through a side entrance” shortly before midnight, Beyoncé toured the club for the first time since its renovation,” the e-mail read. Looking resplendent in a hip-hugging, cleavage-showcasing red dress and embroidered Christian Louboutin shoes, the platinum-selling performer stayed until the bitter end with Hova, rapper Nas , marketing guru Steve Stoute and a few other pals.

The group held court in a cordoned-off VIP area in the middle of the 40/40, and enjoyed flutes of Ace of Spades Champagne and executive chef Mike Shand ’s signature dishes. Later in the evening, Jay-Z and Nas tossed back shots. Beyoncé mostly stuck to water, but around 3 a.m. we observed her sipping what appeared to be a glass of bubbly.

Although Jay and his wife socialized separately, they did share a hug when Beyoncé arrived in the VIP area. At another point in the evening, Jay-Z reached for his wife’s hand to check on her, sweetly kissing it after she assured him everything was fine.

Security was tight around the power couple and and partygoers were strongly discouraged from snapping pics of Beyoncé. Former rivals Jay-Z and Nas — who had a very public rap feud that ended in 2005 — looked like best buds at the party. On multiple occasions Jay-Z made Nas, who was a guest performer at Carnegie Hall, laugh so hard the Queens product was almost crying.

While the party crowd was less star-studded than the club’s grand reopening three weeks ago, it was definitely highbrow. Many in attendance wore formal attire and the club enforced a dress code at the door.

A source tells us Beyonce was at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday night where she “never stopped dancing” to Jay-Z’s performance and “cried when he sang ‘Glory,’ ” his tribute to Blue Ivy.

Awwww, how precious.

Ever since Bey shook up the world with her baby bump last year, the speculation has been running wild that she’s been faking the whole time. While we don’t necessarily believe the crazies, we’re going to add fuel to the fire and show you the clues that have everyone jumping to the conclusion.

Jay-Z’s various successes include sold-out concerts, singles that reach chart-topping success in days and January birth of his newborn daughter, Blue Ivy (with wife Beyonce Knowles). But one area that hasn’t been so great for the star is his Rocawear clothing line.

Which is why the supermogul decided to revamp the menswear line after a “rocky winter” where “Roc Apparel Group LLC laid off 28 of its 56 employees at its Manhattan headquarters,” Women’s Wear Daily reported Thursday.

The solution: a commerical with a big name.

Jay-Z, 42, is lending his A-list status and will star in the brand’s first-ever television campaign. Filmed in November, the spot will begin to air on outlets including MTV, BET and TNT, most prominently during NBA basketball games.

“Titled ‘From Marcy to Madison Square,’ the black-and-white spots track Jay-Z’s rise from selling CDs out of the trunk of a car in the Marcy Projects of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, to headlining concerts at Madison Square Garden. The spot uses footage from Jay-Z’s ‘Watch the Throne’ concert at MSG in November,” WWD writes.

Other efforts to help the brand, which saw global sales dip with a $500 million loss, get back on its feet include expanding its children’s clothing and nternational markets reach.

Here’s a better idea Jay, just close up shop. You’ve had so much success in your various business ventures, don’t go out like FUBU…just a thought.

Does Daddy Hov need to be a little bit more charitable?

Jay-Z calls himself the best rapper alive, and he’s made a cool half billion dollars off his talent — but when it comes to giving money to the charity he founded, he’s recently been more of a nickel-and-dime kind of guy.

The hip-hop artist gave just $6,431 to his own charity in 2010, a year in which he earned an estimated $63 million, according to tax records for the Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund examined by The Daily.

His superstar wife, Beyoncé, made in the neighborhood of $87 million, according to a Forbes estimate — yet she didn’t give her husband’s foundation a dime.

But the charity is hardly an afterthought for the rapper, formerly known as Shawn Carter. He is scheduled to perform the first of two benefit concerts at Carnegie Hall in New York City tonight, splitting the proceeds between his charity and the United Way of New York. Tickets range from $150 to $15,000. Jay-Z is rapping for free, yet it remains to be seen how many crispy Benjamins he’ll personally contribute.

While Jay may not have donated his own money, he just finished a freaking show at Carnegie Hall! These people need to hop off his sack and his wallet. Maybe he should get his Illuminati friends to get these busters out of his pockets.
