Janet Jackson and mini-boo Jermaine Dupri have gone public with their intention to start a family together. JD was spotted at a dinner party in West Hollywood over the weekend. When asked about he and Janet’s baby plans, he said:

“‘Yeah, soon. Right after the tour.’ Jackson recently announced she’ll be on the road this fall. The 42-year-old pop icon, who has been married and divorced twice, once quipped that she was ‘allergic to marriage.’ Dupri is reportedly so excited to procreate with Jackson, he doesn’t care if it’s a boy or a girl. ‘It really doesn’t matter, Janet would be a great mom. She was around so many brothers and sisters all her life, so she’s got to know what that is [like]. And her mom is a great mother.’”

Awww. How sweet. Pretty soon we can expect the pitter patter of pint-sized musical geniuses running amok. And speaking of happy couples. Timbaland and Monique Idlett tied the knot this weekend in a event of formal proportions. Click HERE to get the full scoop.

Jermaine Dupri says Jay-Z the Camel is happy to be hitched:

“Dupri says Jay-Z is ‘doing great’ since exchanging vows with Beyonce. ‘We were in the studio the day after the wedding doing a record for Usher’s album,’ [said] at the opening of Bape store in L.A. Wednesday.

‘It’s the same as he always is,’ he added. But Jay-Z was mum about enjoying married life. ‘We don’t talk about that kind of stuff,’ Dupri said. ‘We talk about work.’”

LMAO that Camel-man was back in the studio the day after the secret wedding. Damn, he’s the new hardest working man in showbiz. And we see that Jay-Z’s large lips are still very sealed around the marriage issue – so be it.

Mini-Mogul Jermaine Dupri has a new record label:

“Jermaine Dupri is set to launch a new record label – in collaboration with U.S. body spray TAG. Artists signed to TAG Records will be promoted through the spray’s marketing campaigns as part of the deal, reports CMUMusic.com.

Dupri says, ‘This label is going to provide new artists with a chance of a lifetime. New artists will receive ten times the typical marketing support – a first in the industry.’ TAG Records is expected to announce its first signing next month.

Very ambitious, but this sounds a little like some New World Order type sh*t.

Here are some pics from Snoop’s album release party for Ego Trippin’ and apparently things got a little rowdy:

Snoop Dogg hadn’t even turned up to his invitation-only album launch at New York’s Touch nightclub when the city’s finest arrived to check on the commotion. More than ten NYPD cars moved in on the nightclub near Time Square in what appeared to be a raid. The party was to celebrate the launch of Snoop’s latest album Ego Trippin, his first in almost two years. Police called for back-up when the over-crowded nightclub patrons got a little hostile. It’s believed someone even triggered a fire alarm in the commotion which caused further chaos with the Fire Department showing up. Among those seen outside the club, America’s Top Model winner Jaslene Gonzalez. She appeared to be refused entry despite pleading with bouncers.

NYPD would not say why they showed up but no-one was arrested however police officers remained outside the club – matched in strength by Snoop Dog’s own security entourage. When the rapper finally showed up after midnight, he was mobbed by onlookers and police had to intervene again to calm the crowd down.

Look at Snoop’s fit. SMH.
