Nas, never afraid to speak his mind, blasted Messy Jesse for making that infamous out of pocket statement:

“I think Jesse Jackson, he’s the biggest player hater. His time is up. All you old n****s, time is up. We heard your voice, we saw your marching, we heard your sermons. We don’t wanna hear that s**t no more.

“It’s a new day. It’s a new voice. I’m here now. We don’t need Jesse; I’m here. I got this. We got Barack, we got David Banners and Young Jeezys.

But he had nothing but kind words for Kanye West and Lil Wayne:

” Kanye is the one in the industry who throws tantrums and people become use to it and we don’t take things he says to personal because he is like the “Revenge of the Nerds to me.” He is the one who wears full buttons ups Danny Terial style! I don’t like tight jeans! I only like tight jeans on females and that comment is not just for Ye! It seems like jeans are getting tighter and sneakers are getting bigger!”

Everyone seems to be on that nerdy swag right now, but we know where Jim Jones is going with this. Perhaps this recent Kanye get up comes to mind, however that “take a bath” steez never gets played out.

Kanye responds to those anger management rumors in his blog:

Do yall remember when people said my fiance was pregnant???? What happened to that rumor????? I guess after we broke up it was just forgot about???? I’m just using that as an example of how people make up stuff and everybody runs with it. I had my own family asking me about that. Now the media is saying I’m going to anger management something or ‘nother. I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!! lol! I get off the plane in Hawaii today and the world is saying my management team said blah blah blah… SIIIIIIGGGHHHH! I told the media you can’t make up lies about me because I have a media outlet myself. Oh and sidebar I don’t know if everyone has realized this yet but I don’t do interviews if there’s anything I wanna say I’ll say right here on my own blog.

Word is Kanye West’s managament team is strongly encouraging him to work on getting a hold of himself:

According to Chicago Sun Times columnist Bill Zwecker, West is being asked to tame his temper in order to be more attractive to potential advertisers. He writes, “A West insider tells me the entertainer’s own management team dreamed up the idea, for two reasons: to help his personal psychological well-being and relationship with friends — and to aid in him snaring lucrative endorsement deals.”

Two major companies are reportedly interested in working with Kanye – including an auto company and a cosmetics/fragrance firm. However, the corporations are concerned about “how easy he’ll be to work with.” And the anger managment isn’t just about business. Apparently, West’s tantrums have harmed his personal life as well. “Not only has Kanye estranged himself from some pretty important people in the music business, but his temper has driven away a number of longtime friends,” Zwecker’s source said.

Superstar Kanye West teamed with Absolut Vodka to release a comical video yesterday entitled “Be Kanye.” The lighthearted, 1 minute commercial is an advertisement shot in retro 80’s format complete with loud colors and cheesy sound effects. In the commercial, Kanye hawks a fictional product named “Be Kanye.”

All types of shyte are jumping off during Fashion Week. Kanye West has just unveiled a new couture venture:

Like Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs before him, Kanye West is looking to expand his hip-hop empire to include fashion. But leave it to Kanye to do it in a big way. The rapper revealed that he’s signed on to design a line of men’s shoes for Louis Vuitton. He’s also working on his own signature line of womens wear (not Vuitton), which is set to launch in the fall. Kanye’s had a good relationship with the luxe French brand. Back in June, he performed at the opening of Takashi Murakami’s lastest show, which included special Louis Vuitton bags. “I grew up with the Louis look, you know,” he told the Guardian paper at last week’s Vuitton runway show in Paris. “I just love the style.”

Louis Vuitton eh? Classy indeed. Kanye’s got interesting taste, we’re curious to see how these kicks turn out.

Word is Kanye pissed off a whole lot of fans last night:

“West was supposed to start his gig at Bonnaroo at 2:45 a.m. yesterday morning, and when he didn’t show up until 4:25, the crowd got on him, chanting ‘Kanye sucks’ and throwing glow sticks on stage. The delay, according to reports, was caused by K’s big stage set, which took a while to throw up after Pearl Jam’s appearance. As it happens, a lot of fans just couldn’t keep it up for Kanye – and ended up asleep in their sleeping bags.”

This type of ish is starting to be a recurring theme for buddy boy. But seriously, this cat must have some bona fide loyal fans if they were willing to wait around ’til the break of dawn to see him perform.

And speaking of Kanye: Our suspicions were true. According to a casual statement made by the NY Post, Kanye is in fact dating Selita Ebanks. We wish ‘em the best of luck ’cause with Lil Miss Fo’head’s track record, they’ll need it.
