Mary J. Blige covers the February 2008 issue of Vibe magazine. Mary is looking fly and is definitely doing her thing, but what sounds a little more entertaining than reading about Mary and the truth about her loves songs, is reading about Ne-Yo and his pick up lines. That sounds like some pure comedy right there. Ne-Yo just doesn’t seem to have that good pick-a-broad up swag.

Mary J. Blige’s album “Growing Pains” has moved to the No. 1 spot on the Pop charts. Her album is the 36th and last No. 1 album to reach No. 1 in 2007.

What a way to end the year. We commend Mary for continuing to make it rain on these measly little hoes for over a decade.

Looks like some strings where pulled and the inspection was passed after all. Camel’s 40/40 opened last night in Vegas and had some pretty interesting characters in attendance including Al Sharpton and Joe Jackson.

Mary J. Blige on these little girls in the industry acting a damn fool:

“In a business like the music business, too much success too soon for a young person can drive them crazy. If there’s no parental guidance to say, ‘You know, your environment isn’t right. Change it up,’ or something like that… Because everyone’s saying yes to everything you do, everything’s cool, everything you do is hot.”

“When I finally woke up and was able to see my environment, I got out of there because they were killing my career, they were killing everything that was going to make me better. “No one would tell me the truth, and no one’s telling them (today’s troubled stars) the truth and that’s the problem.”

Yeah that and they need some real motherly support to get in that ass from time to time.
