Yesterday, we reported that VH1 would be bringing the popular Love & Hip-Hop series to the Dirty South but with no official cast announced yet, we began to wonder… which hip hop baby mamas, wanna be wives, video vixens, aspiring artists, instigating a$$ managers and psycho beyotch mothers would make the cast of the spinoff series?

After a lot of consideration, we’ve made up a list of potential ATL based ladies that would bring the heat to the show.

We here at Bossip loooove 90′s Rap and feel the whole rap game has died down. We’ve compiled a list of reasons “Hip Hop Has Changed And Is Not As Potent As It Used To Be.”

#10:The internet. The internet is making bubble gum geeks into stars. I.E. Kreayshawn and others in her ilk. The internet lets anybody who wants to put out music… put it out at their own discretion which has lead to too much music being out there and folks having to have some kind of gimmick in order to make it. The gay rapper, the white girl rapper, the rapper that got his chain snatched on camera, that rapper that beat up somebody on camera, etc… etc. Also, people feel “why buy music?”

Leaving your promoter in a foreign country and not wanting to pay for his release, now THAT’S Illmatic

According to TMZ reports:

Nas’ concert promoter who was kidnapped at gunpoint in Angola is still stuck in the country — caught in a legal stalemate between Nas and the guy who allegedly kidnapped him .. and it’s getting worse by the day.

TMZ broke the story … Patrick Allocco — a U.S. concert promoter who booked an Angolan New Year’s Eve show starring Nas — was kidnapped after the Angolan concert promoter sent Allocco a $300,000 advance for Nas and the rapper ended up being a no-show.

We’ve learned Allocco — who was released from custody but is still prohibited from leaving the country — sent Nas the $300k, but now the Angola promoter wants not only the $300,000 back, but an additional $50,000 in expenses.

Here’s the deadlock. Nas is willing to send $300,000, but not the addition $50 grand. In addition, before Nas sends ANY money, he wants a letter from both Allocco and the Angolan concert promoter — releasing him from any liability.

So there’s a stalemate. And Allocco is stuck in a foreign land.

Give up that gwap God’s Son! Bring that man back home!
