Nelly recently compares his Tip Drill video with Halle Berry’s Academy Award winnig sex scene in Monster’s Ball. Via SOHH:
“You look at Essence magazine, and they wouldn’t put a rapper on the cover. They wouldn’t put Nelly on the cover of Essence. Why? I don’t know. Would I like to do it? Of course I would. Why not? You wouldn’t put me on the cover because of the ‘Tip Drill’ video … that’s probably your main focus. But yet still, you put Halle Berry on the cover. She’s had a 15-minute sex scene with some white guy in front of a couch … I mean you can’t tell me that ‘Tip Drill’ was worse than watching that sex scene between Billy Bob (Thornton) and Halle Berry. You can’t tell me that. That was longer than four or five minutes. You feel what I’m sayin’?”

Nelly supported his boo Ashanti at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Hosts World Premiere for her new film Resident Evil: Extinction. It’s rumored that they are engaged, but Ashanti’s fingers are looking extremely naked. You can’t knock em though, because they actually look nice together.
Ice-T’s siliconed wife Coco showed her support for him at his performance at the AllHipHop.com Presents “The Release” last night in NYC. No comment on whether they are a good looking couple or not.

The low-rent Beyonce and Jay-Z were spotted in St.Louis over the weekend at Nelly’s very original ‘Black and White’ Ball. The couple also attended a party together on Saturday night.
Our body language experts say this couple is not feelin’ each other anymore and Ashanti looks like she is thinkin’ about Irv or someone else. They know how the game works, put a couple face on for the cameras until we figure out how to play this break-up.

After Nelly reportedly dumped Ashanti for creepin’ with Irv Gotti “again” and Bossip spies spotted Nelly flirting and looking very single at R. Kelly’s album release party and Jermaine’ Dupri’s cafe in Atlanta over the weekend, Ashanti has now taken Nelly off her Myspace. Irv is at the top!
The low-rent Joe Camel and Beyonce are over. Summer is heating up and you can probably expect some Nelly disses on Murder Inc’s new material.

Where is the “go to” place to see whether break-up rumors are true in 07? Myspace. Rumors are swirling that Ashanti and Nelly recently broke up and that she never got over Irv Gotti who has a wife and kids and was her “Boss” over at Murder Inc. Nelly reportedly found out about Ashanti creepin with Irv again and it’s splitsvile. On Nelly’s Myspace, Ashanti is suddenly and surprisingly missing. Mya makes the ‘ top ten’ Myspace cut though.
Not a good look for Nelly if this is true , dissed by Beyonce for Joe Camel and now Irv owns him with Ashanti. SMH.

Despite rumors of trouble, Nelly and Ashanti were spotted coupled-up in Vegas over the weekend. The low-rent version of Beyonce and Joe Camel hit up Camel’s Mayweather Jr-De La Hoya fight after-party at club Tao in Vegas.
Usher brought his old-woman with four kids, fiancee Tameka Foster, to the event. Her stuff can’t be that wet and good, something else must be going on.
Tameka Foster: You better marry me or I am about to put you on blast.

Is Nelly and Ashanti’s relationship going down the crapper?? Despite Wendy Williams saying that it’s rock solid, there’s still rumors floating. If the break-up is true, it’s a shame because even though they both annoy me to high hell, I still think they make a cute couple.
