Faith Evans was spotted recently with two of her children, Ryder and CJ, the son of the late Notorious B.I.G. That boy looks like a cuter version of his dad.

Ray-J’s Memories of Pac and Biggie

Posted by Bossip Staff

This guy will forever stay talking. Here are some quotes from media slut Ray-J where he discusses his run-ins with Tupac and Biggie:

What was the craziest thing you ever saw at Can Am?

We walked in one day and Faith was sitting on Pac’s lap while Pac was writing a verse. It was like, “What the f*ck is going on?” That was one of the craziest sights, dog. Faith was in Pac’s lap. I was like, “What the f*ck? I know I’m not? Is that? It can’t?” Three weeks later, “Hit ‘Em Up” came out. There’s a couple of people that came up out of that camp. Bow Wow was in Snoop’s camp. Keyshia Cole was always through Death Row in her younger days. I used to see Keyshia all the time in there with Pac. I’m not hating on nobody. I got love for Faith. That was unbelievable, during the time of the East Coast-West Coast beef. Continue »

On Location: “Notorious”

Notorius

Jamal Woolard and Naturi Naughton are set to play Biggie and Lil Kim in the upcoming film, “Notorious” which is currently being shot on location in NYC.

Casting these two is clearly a compliment, especially to Lil Kim, who has been looking straight boogly these days. With Derek Luke playing buck-tooth Diddy, it might as well be a damn fantasy tale.

Diddy Denial

Sean John denies reports that he had anything to do with the Tupac assault in ’94 reported in the LA Times:

“This story is beyond ridiculous and completely false. Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself. I am shocked that the Los Angeles Times would be so irresponsible as to publish such a baseless and completely untrue story.”

Here is a portion of the article that was posted in the LA Times this morning:

Now, newly discovered information, including interviews with people who were at the studio that night, lends credence to Shakur’s insistence that associates of rap impresario Sean “Diddy” Combs were behind the assault. Their alleged motives: to punish Shakur for disrespecting them and rejecting their business overtures and, not incidentally, to curry favor with Combs.

The information focuses on two New York hip-hop figures — talent manager James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond and promoter James Sabatino, who is now in prison for unrelated crimes. Continue »

No Justice for B.I.G.

Poor Ms. Wallace. An LA judge dismissed the wrongful death lawsuit of the Notorious B.I.G. and postponed the trial indefinitely:

District Judge Florence-Marie Cooper ruled that the family had not filed a claim within the required timeframe. She then granted a request made by the city and imprisoned former cop Rafael Perez to dismiss the case. Perez, a corrupt former cop, has been accused of conspiring with his former partner David Mack to murder the rapper.

Damn shame. If Biggie was a rocker or politician, someone would be in the slammer by now. Those rat bastards know the truth about his death, but that’s one less black man with a voice. Rappers beware.

New Twist in Biggie Murder Case

Waymond Anderson, the main witness in Voletta Wallace and Faith Evans’ wrongful death suit of Biggie Smalls (R.I.P.) against LAPD, has now flipped the script. He is saying that the LAPD had no involvement in the murder and that Volleta Wallace and her lawyers bribed him.

Via Chicago Tribune:

He said he was offered a percentage of any settlement if he testified that former Los Angeles Officer Rafael Perez had told him that another ex-officer, David Mack, was involved in the murder. In the deposition, he repudiated earlier statements to police investigators in which he described conversations with both of the disgraced officers.

“I don’t know David Mack, I don’t know Rafael Perez,” Anderson told lawyers representing relatives of the slain rapper, whose real name was Christopher Wallace.

The two officers “had no involvement with the . . . murder,” Anderson said under oath. At various points in the deposition, he said, “It was a lie, and I’m ashamed of it,” and, “I did what I had to do to survive.” Continue »

Does This Look Like Big Poppa to You?

Casting has finally begun for the an untitled film based on the life of the Notorious B.I.G. Producer of the film and former manager Wayne Barrow decided to give an unknown actor a chance after deciding against Oscar winner Forest Whitaker because of his age.

“As it relates to the individual Christopher Wallace – his looks, his stature, what he represented, the swagger, the sensibility of the man – all those elements are very difficult to find, no matter where you go. In the typical Hollywood world, no one came to mind outside of Forest Whitaker who could capture that essence genuinely.”

Casting for the film will begin on Sunday through an P. Diddy style online casting call.

Forest playing the part of Biggie would have taken this movie from “Straight-to-DVD” to Oscar potential.
