Diddy had a few sentiments about the movie, “Notorious”:

“The movie’s a mother’s story,” he explained. “[Big's] mother is the driving force of the movie getting done. I wanted the movie to speak for itself, so I haven’t been out there overhyping it. But truth be told, I was blown away by the movie. I was entertained by the movie. The movie is what was happening. Can’t no critics speak on it. I’m telling you, that’s my life right there. “I was pregnant and I know exactly how it happened. I couldn’t believe it. Big and I rarely used protection and I’d only gotten pregnant once, early on in the relationship. I’d had a miscarriage before we could think about what we were going to do about it.” “I decided I was keeping this baby. I called Big to share the news.” “He didn’t sound happy or sad. Just very noncommittal. “You keeping it?” he asked. “Yeah. I am,” I said. It was a quiet moment. “Are you sure?” “Yes, I’m sure…” Big made a weary sound. “Homegirl got pregnant, too,” he said. “What does that have to do with me?” “I made her get an abortion,” he said.

Now, our girl, Faith, hasn’t been too much of a messy chick. Well, there is the whole snorting coke ordeal, cough, but we will give her a pass because this is a nice picture of her. We think this book could really shed some accurate light on her and B.I.G.’s situation and, believe it or not, we kinda want to know what the hell else popped off in their world. What do you think about her upcoming book?

What was the craziest thing you ever saw at Can Am?

We walked in one day and Faith was sitting on Pac’s lap while Pac was writing a verse. It was like, “What the f*ck is going on?” That was one of the craziest sights, dog. Faith was in Pac’s lap. I was like, “What the f*ck? I know I’m not? Is that? It can’t?” Three weeks later, “Hit ‘Em Up” came out. There’s a couple of people that came up out of that camp. Bow Wow was in Snoop’s camp. Keyshia Cole was always through Death Row in her younger days. I used to see Keyshia all the time in there with Pac. I’m not hating on nobody. I got love for Faith. Jamal Woolard and Naturi Naughton are set to play Biggie and Lil Kim in the upcoming film, “Notorious” which is currently being shot on location in NYC.

Casting these two is clearly a compliment, especially to Lil Kim, who has been looking straight boogly these days. With Derek Luke playing buck-tooth Diddy, it might as well be a damn fantasy tale.

Sean John denies reports that he had anything to do with the Tupac assault in ’94 reported in the LA Times:

“This story is beyond ridiculous and completely false. Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself. I am shocked that the Los Angeles Times would be so irresponsible as to publish such a baseless and completely untrue story.”

Here is a portion of the article that was posted in the LA Times this morning:

Now, newly discovered information, including interviews with people who were at the studio that night, lends credence to Shakur’s insistence that associates of rap impresario Sean “Diddy” Combs were behind the assault. Their alleged motives: to punish Shakur for disrespecting them and rejecting their business overtures and, not incidentally, to curry favor with Combs.

The information focuses on two New York hip-hop figures — talent manager James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond and promoter James Sabatino, who is now in prison for unrelated crimes. Continue »
