Prince Pays $4 Million In Lawsuit

Good thing Prince has a boatload of money to pay these things.

A New York judge Friday ordered pop star Prince to pay $3.95 million to a perfume maker for failing to promote the 3121 line of scents.

Prince was sued by Revelations Perfume and Cosmetics in 2008 for failing to promote the perfume, which was supposedly inspired by his 2006 album 3121. The company said it spent millions of dollars in out-of-pocket expenses in reliance upon Prince’s commitment to promote, and when the matter went before a special referee, the estimation of actual damage was accepted. Now, a New York Supreme Court judge has confirmed the award.

Damn, we know Prince moves to the beat of his own drum, but he probably should have shown up and helped out if he knew it was going to cost him so much money. We’re sure that’s just a drop in the bucket for him, but that’s still a ton of moolah.

VH1 does it again…

We’ve seen dozens of reality shows come through the VH1 studios but this one might be another hit. They’ve decided to put together “Hollywood Exes,” a show about five ex-wives of celebrities. As if caking off with half isn’t enough, they’re going to make money off of being married to famous people at one point. And allegedly, they’re actually good friends in real life.

Hmmm…let’s see.

Celebrity feuds are as common as celebrity babies and celebrity DUIs. But sometimes there just aren’t enough TMZ or reality show cameras around to capture the insanity. That’s when we have to rely on word of mouth to get the real. So without further ado, here are some epic beat downs we so wish we could have seen unfold before our eyes.

For example, last night when the Lakers squared off against the Clippers, Pau Gasol tried to son Chris Paul, who at 6’0, can only be considered short by other NBA players. Gasol laid hands on Paul’s head, like he was going to tousle his hair or something and Chris let it be known he wasn’t having it! He might not be the shortest guy around, but he’s a great example of how small can beat out tall. We found some other guys of more miniature stature that are also big on swag.

It’s a shame these guys are more known for being married to divorced from Halle Berry and Prince but they have rebounded so nicely, haven’t they?
