Common and Serena were spotted getting a little friendly at Venus’ launch party last week for her EleVen clothing line. For some reason we’re not sure about this one:

“They were very friendly, arm-in-arm. She looked great,” said a spy. “All night they were sitting together. They were keeping it cool, but you could tell Common likes himself some Serena. I asked a friend of his and was told they are dating.”

First it’s Kerry Washington, and now it’s Serena Williams. Williams did play a small role in Common’s video “I Want You”. We were feeling Serena and Jackie Long as a couple.

Kanye West and fiancée Alexis Phifer hit up the Louis Vuitton Gala Celebrating the Murakami Exhibition in LA. Yeah, we’re feelin their out of the box swag and they are definitely a fly couple, but we are not so much feelin the white shoes Ye’s boo is rockin. Not because they’re white and it’s after labor day (that rule is dated), but just because they are ugly.

Venus and Serena Williams had a photo shoot for ESPN the magazine’s 10th anniversary issue and are looking awfully good.  Kudos to the stylist of this shoot because this is the best we’ve seen these ladies look period.  Oh yeah, and say what you want about Serena looking like a man, but she is making it rain on them hoes in that dress.

Actor Jackie Long attended Talib Kweli’s album release party last night in Hollyweird. He just has that boy next door, kind warm-hearted, but will give it to you real good look about him. A nice guy with a sense of humor but not geekish or cornballish like Nick Cannon.  Serena better get some eyes in the back of her head, because there is always someone coming to take your spot.
