When old media such as People Magazine start using the word “swag”,is it time to STOP using the word? Isn’t this a sign that this ish is now officially played out? Or did we do it to ourselves with all the swag songs???

What other black lingo “cool” words have been murked by white folks???

We can think of more than a few. Bling would definitely be one. Holla might be another. “Oh No You Didn’t!”

We get spending money on crazy isht…but this is just inexcusable.

What people do with their money is their business. However, these purchases are a waste of money and they hardly even get to enjoy the things they spend all their damn money on! Without further ado, we look at 10 ways celebrities flush their dough down the toilet.

We would like to refer Soulja Boy to industry rule #4080…

According to TMZ reports:

Soulja Boy was nothing more than an ignorant 16-year-old when he skyrocketed to fame in 2007 — and now, the rapper’s suing his ex-manager … claiming the guy took advantage of his naive teenage brain.

Soulja filed the documents in Georgia Superior Court, claiming his manager/lawyer Philip Ransom coerced him into signing multiple contracts when he was just starting out — contracts that were “unconscionable, oppressive, and unjust.”

According to the docs, the contracts included a management agreement that gave Ransom 5% of Soulja’s income … forever … relating to work the rapper completed while Ransom was his manager.

Another contract allegedly gave 50% of all Soulja’s music copyrights to his record label — a deal the rapper now claims is “commercially unreasonable” and “contrary to music industry custom and practice.”

But in reality, Soulja’s just bitching because he didn’t read the fine print — the contracts Soulja signed ARE industry standard … some recording contracts even take 100% of the copyrights.

Ransom denies the allegations — filing new legal docs claiming Soulja’s full of crap … and still owes him money from their time together.

Well, despite signing what he may think are “unfair” contracts, the boy soulja still had plenty of money to spend on ridiculous haircuts and ignorant-a$$ jewelry. Maybe he’d be better off if he saved what little money he might have…

Let’s take a look at the fawkery and foolishness that Soulja Boy has spent his money on over the years…

Either this kid is really irresponsible or he’s somehow found a way to actually squander all that money he’s allegedly made.

Because, according to TMZ, little DeAndre Way is on the brink of eviction.

Soulja’s 2011 has included … lying about buying a private jet, pissing off the military with one of his songs and getting arrested for allegedly carrying weed and a gun in a briefcase.

Now TMZ has learned the rapper, real name DeAndre Way, has not paid his November rent for his Atlanta pad — a whopping $4,725 — so he’s been served with eviction papers. Soulja has until December 5 to pay up, or risk getting thrown out.

SMDH, where are your priorities??? Because, we’re sure Soulja Boy is going to claim that it’s not because he doesn’t have the money, it’s that he (or someone in charge of handling his pesky day-to-day bills) forgot.

But at this point in your career, we’re gonna need for you to have your rent on some kind of automatic withdrawal situation…

Soulja Boy has been “ridin’ round gettin’ it” in NYC since last week and the rapper even allowed Billboard Magazine to ride around with him for one day for their “Swag or No Swag” series.

We can’t hate on the young bull for gettin’ that paper but some of these quotes are downright cringe-worthy. Especially with Steve Jobs just barely in his grave. SMH…

For years, it’s been a running joke that rappers commit crimes for promotion. Well now that Soulja Boy got popped for doing hoodrat isht with his friends, we have a reason to talk about that documentary we all forgot he was dropping yesterday. But his publicists will probably act like they’re worried, according to TMZ.

Soulja Boy had 10 big interviews lined up today to promote his new documentary … instead, he [was] locked up in jail … and it just might be the best thing that could have ever happened for the flick.

In case you weren’t aware — the documentary “Soulja Boy: The Movie” [was] released on DVD [yesterday], and the rapper was supposed to spend the day pushing the movie during plastic-smile interviews with various media outlets.

When halfway through the afternoon Soulja was still sitting in a cell, his PR team was apparently going crazy. But now, the arrest has become part of the story of promoting the movie. So there you have it.

Now that Soulja Boy and the four nuckleheads he was caught riding dirty with are out, we have some more details about his arrest… and another reason to talk about the movie.

TMZ reports:

The weed and the gun discovered during Soulja Boy’s arrest this morning were inside a briefcase … which allegedly belongs to the rapper … law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

TMZ broke the story … 21-year-old Soulja and 4 other men were arrested in Temple, GA early this morning … after cops pulled over their Escalade because one of the lights on the vehicle was out.

Sources tell us … when cops approached the car, they detected a “strong odor” of marijuana … and searched the SUV.

We’re told cops found a briefcase during the search, which they believe belongs to Soulja Boy … and inside, officers claim they found a “substantial amount” of weed and a firearm.

Wait, what?? Weed in a briefcase with a gun? Are we sure this fool wasn’t still shooting the movie??

Another day, another rapper popped over some dumb isht…

According to TMZ reports:

Soulja Boy was arrested early this morning for weed possession … and law enforcement sources tell TMZ cops allegedly found a TON of weed and cash during the arrest.

The 21-year-old rapper — real name DeAndre Cortez Way — was popped early this morning by Temple Police Department officers in Temple, GA at 3:15 AM.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Soulja was in a car with 4 other men, which was originally pulled over for a traffic violation.

We’re told … during the stop, cops found a “substantial amount” of marijuana and cash inside the vehicle.” Soulja and the 4 other men were all arrested. Soulja is still being held in Carrol County Jail.

Law enforcement sources tell us officers also found guns inside the car — though it’s unclear if any of the men had the proper licenses to be in possession of the firearms.

We’re told an investigation is underway.

One source with knowledge of the situation tells us there was roughly $70,000 in cash and drugs in the car.

Okay: a) why commit a traffic violation when you know you’re riding THIS dirty? And b) who the hell rides around with that much isht on them? Soulja Boy couldn’t afford to have the weed carriers in a separate car??? SMDH

Soulja Boy had some interesting things to say…it’s like he…reads or something?
