T.I. pulled out all the stops for his Akoo fashion show in Atlanta last night at club Reign. Enlisting his Kevin Hart to warm up the crowd with his comedy and calling on his kids, Domani and Zonnique to perform. Celebrity guests included Cynthia Bailey, Dirty Money’s Kalenna, rappers Killer Mike, Yelawolf and Future and many more. Of course Tiny was in the building as well.

Sorry guys, she stayed off the pole! The event was sponsored by Grey Goose and ReeBok.

The good folks at Uptown Magazine recently got with Ms. “Raymond” to offer their readers and inside look at the normalcy of her life. And it sounds like it might be pretty normal…

You would think the former spouse of superstar singer Usher (they divorced in 2009 and have two children) lived like the women on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, the reality is that she’s a single mom with a career like many other women. During the day, while a nanny cares of Usher V (aka Cinco), 4, and Naviyd, 3, and while Ryan 12, and Kile, 10, (children with her first husband, music exec Ryan Glover) are in school, Raymond runs two businesses. She launched Estella, a clothing and home-decor boutique in Roswell, Ga., in 2010; and KangaZoom, an indoor children’s play facility in Alpharetta, Ga., which opened at the top of 2011.

And then you remember…

She vacations in Paris, Sardinia, and Florence, and has a black Audi A8 parked in the driveway of her 12,000-square-foot home in suburban Atlanta (six bedrooms, eight baths, pool, and guesthouse). Yet she makes famously cheap noodles for her kids and storms through Zara more often than Zanotti. “That’s why I drive an A8,” she says. Her dry and grounded humor is equal parts Seinfeld’s Elaine Benes and Martin‘s Pamela James. “I don’t spend my money on frivolous things,” she adds, like the Suze Orman disciple she is.

To celebrate her birthday, which happens to be today, Tameka Raymond took her adorable munchkins to Miami for some fun in the sun.

And the amount of fun they looked like they have is enough to make ignore the fact that we’re not by a beach somewhere right now.

Just when we thought all the hoopla around Usher and Tameka’s custody beef had quieted down, Meek is in the tabloids denying she ever accused Ush of being on D-Rugs.

According to RadarOnline reports:

Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Foster, denies personally accusing the R&B superstar of using drugs in the custody battle over their two sons, Star magazine has learned exclusively.

While reports indicated she’d said the A-list singer has popped pills in front of their boys — Usher V, 4, and Naviyd, 3 — Tameka steadfastly denies making such claims, or requesting that he take a drug test.

“I never accused him of drugs,” Tameka, who’s fighting for sole custody, told Star exclusively. “My attorneys requested the test, not me. I’m merely in defense mode.”

In her suit, Tameka claims the music mogul — who’s played a role in the star-making of Justin Bieber, amongst others — has failed to get permission to hire nannies, take the kids on vacation, or watch them over breaks.

Tameka reiterated she is not to blame for the nasty exchanges in the heated battle over the kids.

“He started this, I didn’t,” Tameka told Star exclusively. “My kids are my life. I’d never compromise.”

We’re gonna refrain from the Meek bashing right now and just say how much we really love it when adults stop acting like kids and learn to get along for the sake of their babies.

We got more tea than Liptons hunny! To most outside eyes, it’s been looking like Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Raymond has been going a little too hard to make him look like a bad parent. But after receiving numerous insider tips to the contrary, we decided to follow up a source close to the situation. Let’s just say Usher might be guilty of acting like a lil itchbay as of late — and it’s about time he got put on blast.

First, the “Saks card” that was mentioned in the initial TMZ reports about their custody dispute is not a CREDIT CARD.

Sources confirmed to Bossip that she was upset because Usher assured her she would be able to maintain use of their Saks VIP benefits card, a special members perk that she used to purchase things for their children which in turn saves him money. Usage of the card was part of their divorce settlement, it doesn’t cost him any money, it’s just a card Saks extends to their VIP customers, and Tameka can use cash, AMEX or any other kind of tender and receive a 25% discount. It has been confirmed to BOSSIP this is what she meant by “she can no longer enjoy the benefits of the card.”

So it’s not even like she has a revolving credit card and is charging it up and he’s paying the bill! Usher just decided to be spiteful and remove Tameka from the card.

We were also able to clear up some of the confusion about why all these issues and beef has arisen as of late. Much of the tension stems from a very recent incident at Cinco’s birthday:

Last Saturday was Cinco’s birthday and Tameka held a party for him at her business. The party was held from 3pm-6pm and Usher was scheduled to pick up Cinco at 6pm and keep him until 8pm, however, when he arrived at 6:02 pm the party was still in full swing and Cinco hadn’t even opened his gifts. Instead of acting like a mature co-parent and coming inside to wait while his son finished celebrating with his guests, Usher refused to come inside and demanded Tameka bring Cinco to him. To add further insult to injury, when Usher brought Cinco home at 8pm he brought his current girlfriend Grace Miguel with him — the woman he cheated on Tameka with — to the home he and Tameka used to share. Sources confirmed this happened Thanksgiving weekend, when she had a house full of family visiting from out of town.

Not cool at all. What father snatches their kids from their own birthday party?? He could have at least let him open up his gifts and say thank you to the people that came out and gave him gifts. Not to mention the embarrassment of having your ex act like that in front of family. SMH…

Tameka is so serious about getting ex-hubby Ursher to drug tested pronto, before he can get some of that “Clear Flush” poppin.

Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Raymond is freaking out that testing the singer for drugs will soon be useless — because the more time that passes, the more time Usher has to cleanse his system of illicit substances. In case you haven’t been following — Tameka demanded Usher take a drug test recently because she thinks the singer is popping pills and who-knows-what-else around their kids.

Usher refused on grounds Tameka’s demands were “frivolous and unfounded” and only intended to “harass and embarrass” the singer — but now, Tameka is taking her case back to the judge in the ex-couple’s custody war, pleading with the court to force Usher to take the test despite his refusal. And according to the docs, Tameka wants the court to make it snappy — claiming, any further delay will allow Usher to “cleanse” any evidence of drugs from his system.

SMH. Poor Usher.

Geeze, this Raymond vs. Raymond foolishness is getting messier and messier by the moment. Now, Tameka Foster is demanding that her ex-husband gets a drug test because she found some “mystery pills” and believes he’s getting higher than a kite:

The custody battle between Usher Raymond and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster, is turning to war: Justin Bieber mentor Usher last week rejected a demand by his ex to submit to drug testing after she alleged he was “in delirium” during a January concert in Germany. The court drama follows a move in January by the R&B singer to obtain sole custody of their two sons, Usher Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 2. Sources told us that Usher filed the motion after he asked to take the kids on his world tour and Foster refused. In October, Foster fired back a response to Usher’s request, saying that her ex-husband has violated several provisions in their custody agreement, including not allowing Foster to see the children on Christmas last year and not paying $34,000 for nanny services.

She also filed a request for Raymond to submit to drug testing, claiming she found mysterious pills in his jeans pockets in September 2008, and that she believed he was wasted during the Germany concert, according to court documents. Foster, however, alleges he was under the influence of something. “I dated him . . . when he’s had a very serious throat condition and he still performs like a champ,” she said. “ I really feel strongly that something was going on there, and it wasn’t, ‘Oh I have laryngitis.’ ”

She made a further claim in the deposition: “I believe he gets high. And if he doesn’t then he’d take the drug test, correct?” Raymond filed a response to Foster’s allegations last week, calling Foster’s drug test request “frivolous and unfounded,” and intended to “harass and embarrass” the singer.

SMH. Who do y’all believe??? Poor little Cinco and Naviyd.

Poor bullied and villified Tameka Raymond finally got a chance to do unto someone else as others have done onto her in the years since she and Usher failed to reach that “death do us part” threshold we all insist on judging the success of a marriage by.

And she put quite a bit of detail into describing just how much less of a fail her marriage was in comparison to the Kardashian/Humphries affair.

Now before you go too hard on Tameka and remind her that a failed marriage with kids involved might be considered worse than a failed pretend marriage, just keep in mind that making fun of the brevity of Kim Kardashian’s married life was the thing to do on Twitter yesterday.
