More Dramatics From the 50 Cent/Officer Chubby Ross Beef Stunt

50 Cent called into a radio station yesterday and had this to say about The Boss:

“I have artists who have more money than Rick Ross” is the statement 50 made during the beginning of the interview. When 50 was asked why he felt the need to respond to Rick Ross’ statements he said “He’s a fraud… I feel like there is something wrong from a hip hop prospective for you to be a part of law enforcement and totally write your career that you are the biggest drug dealer in Miami.” Continue »

Posted by Bossip Staff

dre-and-nas

Nas has been to the studio with the elusive Dr. Dre and recorded a flow for the legendary producer:

Fresh off a busy 2008, Nas is set to take 2009 by storm with a scheduled appearance on Dr. Dre’s long awaited CD, Detox. The Queens MC who usually keeps a low profile between albums is talking openly about his affinity for working with one of music’s best producers. “I did a joint. I think it’s crazy,” Nas says of working with Dre. “He’s someone I’d love to do a whole album with one day. He’s incredible. Continue »

The Game in England

Posted by Bossip Staff

thegame3

Ya’ll boy, The Game, hopped across the Pond to perform in Manchester at the Apollo. He has been keeping a low profile as of late, and acting more mature…smart. His last album was a lesser glorification of that thuggin sh*t. Go ‘head, Jayceon.

Bad Boys Galore

If you like your man with at least 10 tattoos and/or a felony record, there was a gathering of goons, gangstas, and thugs alike that you missed out on. There were also a couple of undesirables there like T-Pain and the Dream. Yuck.

Tony Yayo: It’s On

Posted by Bossip Staff

Yayo is making threats again:

While on a promo run, doing several interviews, the original G-Unit member has been open about several topics and hasn’t held back when asked about former running mates, Buck and the Game.

In a recent interview on DJ Kay Slay’s Shade45 satellite radio show, Yayo explained that he’s had enough of all the trash talking and warned both rappers that when they run into each other, he promises a physical confrontation.

“This n****s is soft to me, and irrelevant to me. Put it like this, if we see each other, I guarantee it’ll make the newspaper,” the rapper told Kay Slay on the air. “If I bump heads with [Young] Buck or Game, I guarantee it’s gonna make the newspaper. Believe that. It’s not gonna be no ifs, ands, or maybes. It’s just gonna be movies made.

“I know n****s ain’t tough. When n****s start disrespecting me, telling me to suck they d*** and fa****, talking sh** about my moms. I don’t play that,” Yayo continued when asked to why.

Do you think Yayo’s beef with the Game could have anything to do with the fact that the Game is still doing his thing, and the destruction of G-Unit started right around the time Yayo got out the slammer and started “rapping” again? That could cause some anger in anyone.

The Games’ Sister Shot in Compton

Posted by Bossip Staff

Who is this banger you ask? It’s B-FLY, The Games’ sister and aspiring rapper. While on a porch in Compton on Oct 14th, she was struck by a bullet from a moving vehicle. Is it news? Yes, because we have not had a rapper shooting in months, hell, maybe a year. She probably will blow up now; it worked for 50. Here’s an excerpt from her myspace page:

Never did i think when i woke up it could really be the end of my days…But i truly believe in God!!!He has granted me another day at life , another day to love, another day to breathe, another day to bounce back, and anotha day to praise him for life. I have really found the true meaning of life and that is to” live it to its fullest” every second of the day, not to take things for granted ….and to bless everything that i have. I had so much to complain about until this brush with death surfaced but now i know that everything in my life has its purpose and place. People will always have their opinions but I know me and what im about.

“Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives.”

Thanks for dropping that little gem of knowledge, B-Fly. Expect to hear her on a burned copy of the Game’s CD.

The Game Skates Again

Posted by Bossip Staff

The Game won’t have to serve any time:

A judge agreed to dismiss Game’s battery charges — for allegedly punching a cousin at a family funeral — as long as he does 36 anger-management meetings by February 2009. He could’ve faced clink time if convicted. The tiff was over money, you’ll remember, and Game’s relative dropped the dime on him at the funeral and made a citizen’s arrest … even before the body was in the ground.

If you knew you could punch your nagging ass aunt, the one who says you’re getting fat at every family reunion, right in her face and not get locked up, would you do it? Hell to the yeah! We hear you. Not that we promote violence, but come on Relative, at the damn funeral, though? Lord, have mercy.

The Game Speaks On Recovering Barker

Posted by Bossip Staff Game recently spoke to AHH about Travis Barker and DJ AM who were involved in the tragic plane crash that killed 4, including Travis’s well known assistant Lil Chris…

“I am deeply hurt by this tragedy. Travis Barker has always been there for me when I needed him creatively. We’ve done many songs together,” The Game told AllHipHop.com. “Just recently he appeared in my video, “Dope Boyz,” that he featured on. I respect and love him, my prayers are with him and his family in this difficult time for his speedy & complete recovery.”

The drummer is expected to pull through.  He is in critical but stable condition and has third degree burns on the lower part of his body.  Hopefully he will come back stronger than ever, him and DJ AM.  For the Video of The Game and Travis… look under the hood. Continue »

The Game Graces the Cover of J’Adore Magazine

Posted by Bossip Staff

The Game had a bangin’ ass photo shoot with a bunch of model chicks. So, maybe it was more corny than bangin’. Don’t look at us like we wrote something about a wack ass rapper who had a photo shoot with a bunch of wack ass, almost model type, chicks. Everyone has a job to do, damn it. Judgmental bastards…

Moving Units

The Game’s new album L.A.X. debuted at numero dos:

The Game’s latest enters the chart at #2, selling more than 238,000 copies; his previous efforts sold significantly better. His 2005 LP The Documentary entered the chart on top with 587,000 scans, while the 2006 follow-up, Doctor’s Advocate, sold more than 358,000 units, to open at #1. Solange Knowles’ Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams bows at #9 with 46,000 sold.

We would expect The Game’s crazy ass to move a bit more, but in this day and age those numbers are decent. Solange, on the other hand, not so much…Poor thang.

The Game hit up 944 Magazine’s 2 year anniversary last night. Images below:

Random Ridiculousness

Posted by Bossip Staff

The Game was caught putting his hands on someone again:

When The Game said goodbye to a relative at a funeral, he may also have kissed his own ass goodbye. Hawthorne City Attorney has charged The Game with criminal battery for allegedly punching a cousin at a family funeral. The tiff was over money, and the relative called the cops and made a citizen’s arrest before the body was buried. And it gets worse for Mr. Game. He’s currently on probation for a firearms offense, and if he’s convicted of battery a judge could violate that probation and throw his butt in the pokey.

We all know The Game is certainly a special character, but scrapping with family members at a funeral just sounds all wrong. This nicca may need some sort of anger management.
