Another day, another Braxton family divorce…

Trina Braxton Files For Divorce From Husband Gabe Solis

Looks like time is up for Trina and her hubby Gabe! In a recent interview the singer revealed the couple is currently in the process of a divorce:

You know a lot of people it seems like has gone through the same situation or they’ve been through something very similar in their relationship and their just kind of like what do you do? How do you do this? And what do you think I should do? The first thing I say is I don’t know because you never know what you’ll do unless you go through something yourself. I have learned to keep my mouth shut with that. As far as the status of Gabe and I, I have filed for divorce however we are being very adult about it. We are talking, we are still raising the children together and we are still praying about his sex addiction therapy that he’s going to a counselor for as well. We’re doing a lot of praying and a lot of keeping outside influences away from our decision making. I think that’s one of the biggest mistakes we’ve made through the seasons of Braxton Family Values.

Sounds like she may regret letting the cameras in on all her family drama. And clearly she’s not the only one. Trina revealed she doesn’t think Toni will do another season of “Braxton Family Values”:

I can’t speak for Toni however I will say that Toni was already established as a superstar. Toni has been a 20 year veteran and being a songstress. She’s already done the television thing, she’s already done the movie thing and Toni has always been very aloof when it comes to talking about her personal business. If you notice when you watch “Braxton Family Values” she doesn’t talk much about her family as far as her husband or her “wasbund” and her children are concerned. Toni is just very old school when it comes to airing out your personal laundry on television. And you can’t fault her for it, it’s for some people and it’s not for others. I think she’d rather just go ahead and be Toni the songstress as opposed to Toni the reality TV star.

Well best of luck to both Trina and Toni on that note. We can’t say we’re too surprised to hear this news. Are you?

Those of you who said Eddie would rather be with a Tony than Toni might just be right.

Eddie Murphy has denied reports that he is dating “Another Sad Love Song” singer Toni Braxton.

When asked if he had a new paramour, Murphy told “Access Hollywood” in an interview last night, “I don’t even know who the new love is. I know I’m single and I’m just up at the house, playing the guitar and being a single dad.”

When asked specifically about reports that he and Braxton were “getting very serious,” Murphy said the rumors aren’t true.

“Toni and I are just friends,” Murphy claimed. “I went to her show, and we’re friends and she’s a very, very sweet girl, but we’re just friends.”

Murphy also took a moment to give his thoughts on the 84th annual Academy Awards, which he was slated to host until his pal and “Tower Heist” director Brett Ratner pulled out of producing the event after making a homophobic comment during a press conference.

“It’s still something that I would like to do one day, because all the best comics have done it,” said Murphy of the awards show. “It’s one of the few things I haven’t done in my 35 years in this business, so I would like to have that be part of my resume as well … If they ask me again, maybe I’ll do it.”

Well, that rumor didn’t last long. We had a feeling Toni didn’t have a strong enough jaw to keep Eddie interested.
