Venus Williams and boyfriend, golfer Hank Kuehne (and former boo of Paula Abdul) celebrated her graduation from fashion school and launch of her clothing line “Eleven” in Miami last night. Looks like this dude is in there, Venus’ dad likes him and she says:

“He’s very supportive. I love having him here. He’s a great guy, he understands competition.”

That is what a 52 year-old banger looks like. Iman attended the 7th on Sale Black-tie Gala Dinner last night in NYC, looking better than the young broads that showed up. Not even chicks in their 20′s can mess with her right now. She is definitely hurtin’ em.

Serena Williams came out to support her sister Venus last night at the launch party for her clothing line “EleVen” at Tenjune in NYC. Damn, Serena is still trying to sex it up, and she might actually be getting good at it. Venus still has some way to go, but she is definitely looking waaaay better than she was the last time we saw her.

Venus and Serena Williams had a photo shoot for ESPN the magazine’s 10th anniversary issue and are looking awfully good.  Kudos to the stylist of this shoot because this is the best we’ve seen these ladies look period.  Oh yeah, and say what you want about Serena looking like a man, but she is making it rain on them hoes in that dress.

The American Media are coming down hard on Serena Williams for her behavior during a press conference following her loss to Justine Henin during the US Open yesterday:

In the New York Times, under the headline, “Williams needs a lesson in etiquette”, Selena Roberts wrote: “Who’s classless now? “The grumpy, borderline nasty disposition that Williams displayed after her loss was a little jarring considering she had her own lack of preparation to blame for giving in so easily to Henin.

“Serena was bitter, angry and upset. She directed some of that at Henin. Who could use charm school now?”

In an interview with USA Network, which hosts television coverage of the U.S. Open, John Wertheim, the senior writer for Sports Illustrated magazine, described Serena’s reaction as “stunning”.”There’s a lot to admire about Serena but this happens again and again where we just have these completely graceless post-match (news conferences).

Maybe it was the $15,000 worth of diamonds dripping from her neck and ears that made her a tad sluggish in the match. I guess being iced out for the tennis match is more important than winning the US Open these days for Serena.

Serena Williams response to being one of the worst-conditioned athletes and over-weight:

“I have a large arse and it always just looks like I’m bigger than the rest of the girls, but I have been the same weight for I don’t know how long. If I lost 20 pounds, I’m still going to have these knockers, forgive me, and I’m still going to have this arse. It’s just the way it is.”

Serena is right! That’s a whole lotta junk she’s carrying back there. Those knockers could feed a school of African babies. I haven’t missed a tennis match since her arse she stepped on the scene. Go Serena!

Talented Tennis Star Venus Williams launched her new athletic clothing line “Eleven” at Steve & Barry’s in NYC. Those sneakers look wack as hell, they actually remind me of the 2002 version of a pair of British Knights. As for the clothes…since they are intended to be worn on the tennis court I guess all I can really say is they’re okay, but they are not screaming with style or innovation at all.

A recent article picked up by CNN and other major media outlets highlights the growing ‘Something New’ movement. According to the article, Black women are taking cues from stars such as D-list Shar Jackson and Venus Williams to date white. The article entitled “Could Mr. Right be white?’ may be interesting to some and comedy for others. Some quotes from the article:

“I don’t sit around dreaming about the perfect black man I’m going to marry,” Jones said.”I’m not saying that white men are the answer to all our problems,” Jones said. “I’m just saying that they offer a different solution.”

For some, they argue, white wives are the ultimate status symbol. “They don’t want a dark chocolate sister laying around their swimming pool,” Moore said.

“All the black men literally pushed (us) out the way to talk to the blondes,” said Jones, who soon declared, “I’m going to date whoever.”

“To a certain degree, black people are sick of each other,” Alexander said. “It would be better for black men and black women to open their options.”

Fresh from her Wimbledon win, Venus Williams took her boyfriend, washed up golfer Hank Kuehne, out to dinner in London tonight.

Hopefully, some of the Williams’ talent can rub off on the divorced guy with a kid, he has failed to win a single professional golf tournament during his long career. We are sure he will have time to go on plenty of dinners this year. Venus is looking good. Does Hank look like he has an agenda?

‘Hank’ doesn’t have to worry about golf and things like money, he is a celebrity dater:

Hank Kuehne’s missed the cut in the last two PGA Tour events he’s played. He hasn’t finished above 135th this season and his highest finish last year was a tie for 49th. Think Kuehne cares? Think again. This is unremarkable pro golfer is a remarkable dater. His latest celebrity girlfriend is tennis star Venus Williams. Kuehne has even gotten Venus to come to the golf course to watch him miss cuts.

Now, that’s skill. Kuehne has been bringing it for years too. He dated American Idol judge Paula Abdul in 2000, back when she was a little hotter and a lot less crazy…. Just last year, Kuehne divorced from his wife (not Paula), apparently realizing she wasn’t a celebrity.

Damn, even the golf journalists know Hank has an agenda.
