This high school better start making birth control a mandatory subject:

“A state public health official is urging Gloucester officials to take swift and decisive action, including allowing prescription birth control, to curb a spike in teen pregnancy among students at Gloucester High School, where a record 17 girls are pregnant.”

Damn, these ho’s got home-room looking like a lamaze class ‘n’ sh*t. Now who ever heard of that many triflin’ ass teenagers getting knocked the hell up around the same time?? Where are their parents in all this? It truly baffles the mind. SMH.

It was like the Wild Wild West last night up in Harlem:

“Six teens were found near Harlem’s Marcus Garvey Park, where a crowd had gathered. It was not immediately clear whether they were wounded at the park or as they fled when gunfire erupted about 10:15 p.m. Monday, police said.

The victims — between the ages of 13 and 18 — were found on several blocks along Lenox Avenue, from 125th Street to 128th Street. They had been shot in the chest, thigh, torso, abdomen or foot, police said. A 15-year-old girl had been grazed on the forehead. No arrests had been made.

Police flooded the area and blocked off streets in the hours after the shooting at the park as they searched for suspects. Residents were told to go inside their homes. Two men, ages 26 and 20, were wounded in unrelated shootings about half an hour before and after violence broke out at the park, police said.”

Damn, this is pathetic. James Brown said it best: “People, people we’ve got to get over before we go under.” SMH.

An interrupted lady was charged for a Myspace suicide after she posed as a a 16 year-old boy and tried to get at a young girl with some Myspace harassment. The little girl later committed suicide. SMH.

Ex Vikings defensive end Darrion Scott was charged with assault and endangerment of his 2-year-old son:

“A woman reported Scott held a plastic dry cleaning bag over her 2-year-old son’s head. She told child protection Scott was the boy’s father, who recently became involved in the boy’s life in January 2008. The woman told police Scott asked the boy to spend the night at his Eden Prairie home on April 25. When she went to pick up her son the next day, she walked through the unlocked door and heard crying.

When she entered the home, she found Scott leaning over the boy, who was on his back crying and kicking his legs. The boy had a dry cleaning bag over his head and Scott was holding it tight around the boy’s neck. Scott told the woman they were playing and he wanted to see if the boy could get the bag off by himself. Continue »

The National Enquirer is reporting that Bobbi Kristina tried to kill herself:

Whitney Houston’s 15 year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina tried to stab her mom during an argument – and then attempted to kill herself by slashing her wrists! The shocking suicide attempt landed Bobbi Kristina in a psychiatric ward in Atlanta, sources said. Ann Davis, a family member said that a few days before Bobbi’s 15th birthday party that Kristina “tried to stab Whitney” before turning the razor on herself. Davis confided that part of Kristina’s problem is that she doesn’t want to live with Whitney.”

Damn, hopefully this isn’t true. Poor thang.

There is some serious insanity going on in Austria:

“Three children freed from a cellar in which their mother had been imprisoned and raped by her own father for 24 years had never seen daylight, police have confirmed. Police spokesman Franz Polzer [said] that 73-year-old Josef Fritzl admitted holding his daughter, Elisabeth Fritzl, 42, hostage in the windowless cell and fathering seven children by her. The main question reverberating from the small Austrian town: How could a man keep his daughter locked in his basement for 24 years, where she gave birth to seven of his children while her mother and three of those children lived upstairs without an inkling of the horrors in the cellar?”

Are we to believe that his wife didn’t know what was going on in the basement for all those years? This is some truly disturbing ish. Damn, this guy looks hella devlish too.

Juanita Bynum will go on “Divorce Court” this week to end her marriage with Bishop Thomas Weeks III who gave her a real good tail whooping back in August:

Televangelist Juanita Bynum says in a two-part episode of “Divorce Court” that she’s through with her marriage to minister Thomas W. Weeks III, who is on probation for assaulting her.

In episodes scheduled to air Thursday and Friday, Bynum also says she had thoughts of suicide and weighs in on a case involving domestic violence. When asked what advice she had for women in situations similar to hers, she said, “I have to make a decision … to take the love that I had for him with me. I was just trying to make it work because I don’t like losing relationships,” Bynum told Judge Lynn Toler, who hears cases on the syndicated show distributed by Twentieth Television. “All of this just kept getting swept under the rug … So you begin to adapt to a very wrong and very unhealthy marriage.” Continue »

Some a-holes thought it was a good idea to let an 18 month-old baby partake in smoking weed:

A videotape found on a camcorder that was sold to a pawn shop shows a toddler being forced to smoke marijuana, police said. At first, it appeared a male was smoking marijuana through a pipe and the little girl was playing nearby. Then the male, whom police said was 18-year-old Melvin Blevins, was seen passing the pipe to the child. The tape shows the 18-month-old little girl resisting before the video cuts to black. Next, a 16-year-old girl is shown holding the little girl. The male then places the pipe in front of the child’s mouth. Police believed the videotaped child to be the man’s niece. The girl is charged with child endangerment and corrupting another with drugs. Blevins is in custody facing the federal charge of distributing narcotics to a person younger than 21. The child is now 2 years old.

That’s ri-goddamn-diculous. SMH.
