Lil JD won’t let anything put a damper on his party lifestyle:

Jermaine Dupri has vowed to continue partying after an employee was shot at a party he hosted this weekend. According to reports, Dupri was hosting an event at club Dreamz in Atlanta on Friday night when a gunman opened fire inside the venue, shooting a security guard in the arm.

The crowd, which included rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, singer Usher and Gabrielle Union, was sent into a panicked frenzy, scrambling and pushing for the exits.

But the producer insists the incident won’t prevent him from partying in the future. He says, “I’m sad this incident happened because it interrupted a beautiful and loving party. I’m happy none of my people or friends got hurt. And the party continues.”

The injured victim has been released from the hospital.

Damn. Not even a shout out to the injured victim? This is a cat who throws down by any means necessary. SMH.

Bernie Mac is still alive and recovering from pneumonia despite the rumors that he died:

“Bernie Mac is still alive and being treated in a Chicago hospital for pneumonia and is expected to make a full recovery. The actor-comedian (real name: Bernard Jeffery McCullough), 50, was hospitalized in Chicago for pneumonia.

“Mr. Mac is responding well to treatment and will be released soon. He asked that his privacy and that of his family is respected while he gets well.”

It was further stated that the pneumonia was not related to Mac’s 2005 diagnosis of sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in organs such as the lungs or lymph nodes.

We wish him a speedy recovery. That pneumonia can be no joke..
