Charles Barkley recently weighed on the Imus situation:

CHARLES Barkley thinks Don Imus should have been suspended, but not fired, for insulting the Rutgers women’s basketball team. On last night’s “Boomer Esiason Show” on MSG, the NBA star said, “It was an insult to those young ladies. . . . He owed them an apology. I think a suspension was warranted.” Barkley criticized civil rights leaders for ignoring Imus’ insults against Jews, Asians and others. “Anytime something happens, you [media] guys have a magnet on Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, like they speak for all black people . . . which is unfortunate and unfair. Al and Jesse have said racist things before. I don’t think you can have selective prosecution . . . that’s not right, that’s not fair.”

If Imus would have cut Jesse or Sharpton a check in the back office, everything would have been fine. See what happens when you don’t want to be ho when it’s time to be a ho. Imus needs to talk to Don Juan or Kim Kardashian to be put on some of this pimp-ho game and how it works.

During a recent interview with TV Guide, Tyra Banks was asked about her outlook on having kids at the age 33:

I always say “in three years,” and I’ve been saying that for about 10 years [Laughs], so… two years. I’m very interested in adoption, even before it was hot. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve thought that was important.

Tyra looks good and has money, why doesn’t she just get banged and have a kid like everyone else? She is starting to sound like she is “giving up” on men. Kimora will probably be a good father to the adopted kid.

Amerie discusses writing in her future:

“I’m really into writing for other people and hoping to get the ball rolling soon with my publishing company. I totally think Michael Jackson can make it again if he has the right record — it’s all down to a hit track and it doesn’t matter how long they have been away. But more than anything I’d love to write for Britney. I know I can help her comeback.”

I think someone might be feeling themselves a little too much. Damn, everyone’s so Gung-ho on helping Britney’s career, but unfortunately, in this case, Amerie might want to establish her own career first. Britney and Michael have already had their time to shine. She needs to get her own hit making machine in gear and stop worrying about those soon to be has-beens. She has a 2 million dollar leg premium to pay.

During a recent interview, Mel B. discussed her new squeeze Stephen Belafonte (pictured with his daughter) and Eddie Murphy:

A former business partner of Michael Jackson who won a collection of various Jacko items in a New Jersey bankruptcy case is upset because Jacko was granted a temporary retraining order blocking his planned auction. The guy tells Page Six:

There are a couple of paintings Jackson made of children, of boys – naked,” Altomare told Page Six. “And there are some of his whitening creams, some sex aids . . . some of the old records in his sealed [sexual molestation] court case.

“This is stuff we have kept from the auction out of respect to Mr. Jackson. The guy has troubles. We all have skeletons in the closet and, if Michael hadn’t put up a fuss, I might have quietly, discreetly, just given it to him. I’m a Brooklyn kid and a gentleman . . . But if he p – - – - s me off, I may end up auctioning them.”

Obviously, pictures of skin whitening cream and naked boys are not a good look but I don’t think anyone would be surprised at this point. JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL.

25 Cent who Camron has called “Bugs Monkey” dropped some words of FUBU wisdom at the BET Awards press conference yesterday. He was asked if he would remove offensive lyrics from his music and follow Master P:
