Akon in a recent press release:

“First, and most important to me, I want to sincerely apologize for the embarrassment and any pain I’ve caused to the young woman who joined me on-stage, her family and the Trinidad community for the events at my concert in Port of Spain on April 12th. It was never my intention to embarrass or take advantage of my fans in any way, especially those under the age of 18. That is why we tried to make sure that the club did not admit anyone under 18 in the audience. Somehow, that standard was not met.

Again, I apologize to those concerned and to all my fans and I pledge to all that we will strive to make sure this type of incident does not happen again.”

Talented Amy Winehouse is stylin’ on them. You don’t have to be at a healthy weight, off drugs, or have normal-looking teeth to blow up in the game. If only more artists had the grill and talent of Amy, the world would be a much better place.

For those that don’t know, she says her dramatic weight loss came from her boyfriend telling her she was fat. SMH, more like some Black Tar or some “go-fast”(meth). Ok, this is the last Amy Winehouse post for the week.

25 Cent didn’t deny he was hittin actress Victoria Rowell during a radio interview last month and now, her pal is talking to In Touch Weekly:

“Victoria loves the edge that 50 Cent has.”

They hooked up on the set of the military drame “Home of The Brave”. Hopefully, 25 Cent won’t crush her self-esteem and send her into a bad plastic surgeon’s apartment in Harlem to get knifed up with a dirty peanut butter knife.

OJ Simpson was trying to get his Kentucky Derby on and was kicked out a luxury steakhouse. The owner told the press:

“I didn’t want to serve him because of my convictions of what he’s done to those families,” Jeff Ruby said in a telephone interview Tuesday. “The way he continues to torture the lives of those families … with his behavior, attitude and conduct.”"I didn’t want that experience in my restaurant,” Ruby said, later adding that seeing Simpson get so much attention “makes me sick to my stomach.”

He said he went to Simpson’s table and said, “I’m not serving you.” Ruby said when Simpson didn’t respond, he repeated himself and left the room.Ruby said Simpson soon came up to him and said he understood and would gather the rest of his party to leave.Simpson’s attorney, Yale Galanter, said the incident was about race, and he intended to pursue the matter and possibly go after the restaurant’s liquor license.

“He screwed with the wrong guy, he really did,” Galanter said by telephone Tuesday night.

You know the owner got mad because OJ brought about eight broads to the restaurant.

Burn victim patient-looking Russell Simmons recently had some dismissive comments about Barack Obama. Blood Diamond Russ took a break from blonds and being a pawn of the ‘conflict diamond’ industry to ride against Obama for his post-Imus comments on Hip-Hop:

After giving birth, Mel B. has been hitting up papparazi-heavy Mr. Chow’s restaurant on a regular basis. We are pretty sure it’s not the food. She probably just misses the attention after the Spice Girls fell off. Doesn’t she have ‘fat child support check’ written across her face, the “I’m about to get paid” look. She recently sold her first baby pictures to OK! Magazine for a rumored $500K so she can hit up Mr. Chow’s without the support checks.

Rihanna will be performing with Joe Camel at the MTV Music Awards on June 3rd. On working with Joe C. on the Umbrella track, she says:

“I couldn’t imagine it would be Jay-Z getting on the song. They played it for me, and I got goose bumps everywhere. I still can’t believe that I’m shooting a video with Jay-Z and I have a song with Jay on it.”

Jay-Z is probably hitting that bangin Rihanna off as I type this. Rihanna hit up the “Links For Life” Gala to benefit DKMS and The Bone Marrow Foundation in NYC last night.

Singer Black Tar addict Amy Winehouse will also perform at the MTV Movie Awards. Stop frontin, you know Amy is hot, her music that is.

A source who used to work for Tameka Foster in Atlanta when she was Usher’s stylist, exclusively tells Bossip that Tameka Foster is “crazy” and was very “difficult to work with”. Adding weight to our snitch, word from Jawn Murray who writes for the New York Daily News, is that Jonetta Patton had previously taken out a restraining order against Tameka Foster. Patton fired Tameka as his stylist and Tameka just fired her as Usher’s manager .

Rumors are going around that Tameka has been in the cut for a while and was cheating on her husband with Usher while the singer was with Chilli. Tameka is pushing 40 with three kids and left her family for Usher.

Mother’s Day is Sunday. SMH. Yeah, this sh*t is messy. JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL, we are done with it. Maybe for a week.

Since being dumped by Joe Camel, Damon Dash has been struggling to get his mogul on. Via New York Post:

An analysis of Dash’s various holdings, which range from fashion to entertainment, turns up more misses than hits. Dash’s CEO clothing line has yet to take off, reality TV show “Ultimate Hustler” aired for one season and bombed in the ratings, and his foray into Hollywood with the movies “State Property” and “The Woodsman” has not produced box office hits, though DVD sales have fared better. Meanwhile, Dash has pulled the plug on his State Property sportswear line and fledgling record label Damon Dash Music Group, according to spokeswoman Amanda Silverman. “Music is not where the money is,” she said.

While a line of designer clothing by wife Rachel Roy has garnered critical acclaim, and a higher profile after Roy appeared on “Oprah,” it has yet to turn a profit. Dash’s biggest win so far has been Pro-Keds, a sneaker brand he licensed from Stride Rite in 2004 and which, according to industry estimates, has more than doubled sales in the past year to exceed $22 million.

SMH, Damon Dash just looks like a loser everytime I see him without Joe Camel, Mr. President. It’s like a son looking for his father for ‘missed’ direction. Jay-Z, come help your boy get his mind and paper right. He will appreciate you now. It is rumored Dash will take over Joe Camel’s spot at DefJam once he leaves later this year. There are also rumors that DefJam layed off 40 employees today and Joe Camel is running the label into the ground.

Snoop responding to Imus-related criticism regarding the women in his videos:

Who’s to say that these women in videos are ho’s? They are classy women, and if you really try to mack to them, they’ll tell you, “Well, I have a man” or “I’m not into that” or “I don’t do that.” Not every girl in the videos has sex with the rappers or lays out her body and does whatever the rapper says. A lot of these women do this as a means of modeling or being appreciated for their looks.
