Beyonce was spotted spending time with Joe Camel in New York while The Soul Train Music Awards wanted to give her an award for “Irreplaceable”. Janet Jackson decided to show up. What award show is more prestigious than the Soul Train Awards? You know you have to come and support the “little folks” who support you. Jhud performed, maybe that was the reason. Or maybe it was because the “SURVIVOR” Letoya Luckett co-hosted the event. Or maybe she didn’t want to see this guy in these shoes sitting on some dude’s back.

101-year-old lady Rose Morat being interviewed after being mugged for her purse and jewels:

“The next thing I knew, I had a big bang on the side of my face”. “I’m quite sure that if it had happened when I was younger, I would have been after him,” she said. “I’m a very strong woman. I’ve been that way my whole life.”

SMH at the old lady reaching for her purse after being socked up. The mugger went on to rob another old-woman that day.

In other J Hud news, the singer/actress will be rewarded for making the staement “If I’d been any better at my job when I was at Burger King in my middle teens, I wouldn’t be here either, so should I thank them, too?” A statement that was made when Simon Cowell was giving her sh*t for not thanking American Idol in her Oscar speech.

LSU’s women’s baskbetball coach Pokey Chapman quit over allegations she was swirving on her players. “Pokey” released the statement yesterday:

My resignation yesterday has prompted speculation and rumors that far exceeded my expectations, and it is clear that my presence would be a great distraction during the NCAA Tournament”

Come on “Pokey’, you can’t be swirving on the young girls who come to LSU trying to play some hoops. I can just see her trying to offer some more playing time to the best looking player on the team.

Suge Knight attended City of Refuge Church in Compton and heard a message by TD Jakes that influenced him to change direction. Suge says:

“I want to move on with my life in a more positive direction.” My approach to music now is different. I’m not Delores Tucker, but you do have to be careful what you say” “We shouldn’t be constantly feeding negative energy to these kids,” he said. “You can get rich with the devil’s money, but you can only be happy with God’s money.”

If the rap game is not working, maybe Suge can start a career as a preacher. He already sounds pretty good. TD Jakes probably got more bank than Deathrow ever had. I think kids in the hood would listen to Suge the preacher. Jesus appears to have taken the wheel. And the Church said……..AMEN! Now if only Pastor Kerney can “change direction.”

For those (like me) who didn’t know:
