Are there not enough great black actresses to play opposite to black actors?

In Chris Tucker’s latest venture, titled “Gangster M.D.”, Tucker plays a….well, gangster pretending to be a….well, Doctor. It is based on a Bollywood hit screenplay, and an opposite, preferably Indian is being sought as a love interest for Tucker.

Why are most roles that involve african american male actors either, gang or hustler related? Why not a black love interest? What kind of message are we sending?

Sorry, I had to vent. I like Chris Tucker and I respect trying to earn a dollar or two, but sometimes you gotta ask the whats and why?

In preparing for her hot summer tour, “The Adventures of Mimi”, Mariah has chosen American Idol judge and friend as the Musical Director. Randy Jackson has been asked to jazz it up and make things interesting.

This is Ms. Carey’s first tour in three years and she wants it to be the best. Sean Paul will head line and the tour will also be video documented and produced.

….and fans can’t wait! Tour kicks off August 5th.

The superstar has the chart burning single “SOS” and no distress signals are needed, her success fueled LP is already a hit!

Oprah has an incredible following; Soccer Moms, Desperate Housewives, Dire Actors and Die Hard Fans….Some take her word for anything, yes, she did help James Frey sell a million little books.

50 Cent, Ludi, Ice Cube have equal footing with fans in the Hip Hop world and have validity behind their anger towards Ms. Winfrey.

How will issues be resolved? Oprah, invite them to your show….Talk it through and make good….

Kanye West was hesitant to repeat lyrics in front of a judge and courtroom during the infamous Ludicris/West vs I.O.F. trial this past week.

The hit, but profanity fueled dance song “Stand Up”, that Ludi/West created, is part a copyright-infringment lawsuit that is currently taken place in NYC.

West was quoted as saying, “that whatever people say in the ‘hood, ends up on records, that’s what Hip Hop does”.

Halle Berry recently became sick during a promotional appearance upon a Navy ship.

Afer eating “bad shrimp”, Halle started to break out in hives and was given a shot of Benadryl.

Feeling “busted”, a sailor still ask for Berry’s hand in marriage, proving that even when not well, Halle looks fantastic!

Former American Idol loser Corey Clark is now a street vendor, peddling copies of his CD and posters on the streets of L.A.

On Tuesday night, May 23rd, during finale filming of ‘AI’, Clark was a few streets away hawking goods.

Corey, I hope this little venture is lucrative and improves your cash flow for now, but I feel that falafel and corn dogs would sell a whole a lot better.

Now the pregnant star must face the fact that this may be it.
