Fantasia recently told the NY Post that she was never illiterate:

I dropped out of school in the ninth grade, and when I said I had trouble reading, they took it that I couldn’t read at all,” she says. “I knew the basics, but some words that were unfamiliar, I couldn’t figure them out.” However, the “brand-new” Fantasia wants the world to know this: “I’m da bomb now, babe!”

Tasia was handpicked by Oprah to play the lead of Celie in the Broadway music, The Color Purple. I wonder why they picked Tasia to play that part. That wasn’t a question. You know how you can be picked for something for all the wrong reasons.

Alicia Keys attended the Knicks vs. Timberwolves game in NYC Friday. She recently spoke about the pressure on young women to be size zero:

“I think that’s total trash. I think that a woman is so much her curves and her many styles. We come in all packages and we are who we are and I definitely don’t like it when young girls feel like they have to totally starve themselves. “I think it’s not attractive either, actually. Definitely not healthy.”

No snark for Alicia Keys today since she is one of the few talented artists in the game. She gets a talent pass today. She is a class act inside and out. There is nothing wrong with her only being attracted to thick girls.

According to In Touch Weekly, Tyson spent the weekend of March 16 banging Kim Kardashian. Kim Kardashian’s pal tells the magazine:

“After the Ray-J sex-tape scandal, Kim doesn’t want her romances to be public”. She has told Tyson that if he blabs about them, it’s over“.

In the March 9 issue of In Touch Weekly, they cite an unidentified source as contending Joe Camel is trying to dissuade Lil Camel’s mother from taking legal action.

Shanelle told the Guardian, a newspaper in her home country, in 2006:

“It was crazy. You have young multimillionaires throwing themselves at you. Somehow you end up falling for it.”

What’s interesting is that In Touch Weekly contacted Jay-Z’s reps and they had no comment. Why doesn’t he deny Lil Camel is his and shut that Shanelle broad up?

The Barack Obama campaign was forced to distance itself from a sculpture of Obama as a Jesus-messianic figure entitled “Blessing”. The creator of the piece says:

“All of this is a response to what I’ve been witnessing and hearing, this idea that Barack is sort of a potential savior that might come and absolve the country of all its sins,” Cordero said. “In a lot of ways it’s about caution in assigning all these inflated expectations on one individual, and expecting them to change something that many hands have shaped.”

Cutie Christina’s got a new job on the small screen playing the character Olivia on a new CW pilot called Eight Days a Week. It’s a comedy about twenty-somethings working under the movers and shakers in NYC.

Beyoncé Knowles is too busy to marry Jay-Z. The couple have been at the centre of wedding rumours for months but a friend close to Beyoncé claims the pair won’t be walking down the aisle anytime soon. The source said: “They are still very much an item and in love, but there will be no summer wedding – or any wedding this year for that matter. Jay wants to settle down, but Beyoncé is not about to step off the gas as far as her career is concerned. “She told Jay he is going to have to wait a while before she is ready to walk down the aisle.” Although wedding bells aren’t ringing for the couple just yet, Beyoncé does want to tie the knot with Jay-Z.

Maybe when President Camel is 50 he can have the privilege of marrying Beyonce. She was spotted wearing a “Shawn” ring on NBC’s Today show this week, shortly after Joe Camel appeared under Rihanna’s umbrella.

Britney Spears was spotted going to her sister’s birthday party last night in Beverly Hills with a see-through shirt and a new wig. Oh yeah, it looks like she had a little spill, or someone “spilled” something on her shirt. What type of substance do you think is on the poor girl’s shirt?

Sources are reporting K-Fraud got $13 million in his divorce settlement, not $1 million as had been widely reported by mainstream media sources. Shar probably can’t wait to spend some more of Britney’s money.
