Kanye West celebrated his birthday last night and he shut down NYC by bringing everyone out. Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, Jermaine Dupri, Diddy, John Legend, Pharell, Rihanna, and a slew of other celebs were spotted at club Louis Vuitton. Kanye doesn’t seem too interested in his fiancee, Rihanna’s rack gets some attention though.

Isaiah Washington was officially fired today and ABC used Grey’s creator Shonda Rimes to make the call. All that pandering and public service announcements for nothing. Isaiah Washington released the following statement:

“I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore.”

What a dummy, for a guy who is accused of having anger problems and being insensitive, he starts his official statement with he is “mad as hell”. SMH.

Sources exclusively tell Bossip that Denzel Washington was spotted in Vegas last month at an after-party for the Mayweather-De La Hoya fight with a young hostess. According to a source, the Oscar-winner left with the aspiring actress/model and they spent the night together at the private mansion residence where the party was held. Other “notables” at the party says the source included Wesley Snipes and Judge Mathis.

Bossip can confirm that Denzel was in fact in Vegas during the weekend of the fight. Developing…..

Ne-Yo discusses writing Michael Jackson’s new upcoming comeback album:

“I’m not trying to top Thriller. Anybody trying to top something that’s already been done is fighting a losing battle. It was a different industry back then, a different way of thinking and people were easier to impress. Everything in music has been done now, so Michael needs to find his place again.”

I guess it would be hard to top the creative genius of that Thriller album, but it hasn’t been hard for Ne-Yo (among others) to imitate the choreography. Honestly, I think Michael should just keep it in the closet, not really interested in him making a comeback even if the hottest songwriting mer-man (man mermaid) in the game right now is doing the writing.

The kid who Akon body-slammed into a concert crowd was identified by one-time yesterday and Akon is likely to face criminal and civil charges. The kid landed on a couple teens in the crowd and their parents just hired some lawyers to shake Akon down for some free money.

It’s funny how right before this all happened Akon was telling the crowd he didn’t know anything about American culture when he first arrived. Well Akon, when you look like Venom and have a lot of money, you don’t go around body-slamming “suburban kids” at concerts, especially after getting caught freaking a 14 year-old girl like it was your last day of freedom before doing a 20-year prison bid.
