Halle Berry is under fire for making some questionable comments on Jay Leno:

The Oscar-winning star, on the show to promote her movie “Things We Lost in the Fire,” was showing Leno and his audience images of herself on her computer using the Mac program Photo Booth, which distorts images like a carnival fun-house mirror.

According to one audience member, “She introduced the first photo by saying, ‘Here’s where I look like my Jewish cousin!’ – it was a picture of her with a huge, distorted nose. No one laughed, and Jay nervously said, ‘I’m glad you said that and not me.’ When the show aired, they cut out her ‘Jewish’ comment and added a laugh track to the bit.”

In Jermaine Dupri’s new book Young, Rich, and Dangerous he states his opinion on Justin Timberlake:

“I think Justin Timberlake is a talented performer. But he’s very ordinary-looking. He could be any skinny white kid from the suburbs of Orlando. You could go to the mall and find another Justin. He doesn’t make his style interesting even when he’s onstage. To me, he just doesn’t look like a star.”

Barack Obama wants Justice Department official John Tanner fired for the following comments:

“Our society is such that minorities don’t become elderly the way white people do; they die first,” Tanner said. “There are inequities in health care,” Tanner continued. “There are a variety of inequities in this country. And so anything that disproportionately impacts the elderly has the opposite impact on minorities; just the math is such as that.”

Well at least for another week…Via Atlanta Journal Constitution:

T.I. will remain in jail on weapons charges for at least another week, after a federal judge on Friday denied any immediate release on bond. U.S. Magistrate Judge Alan Baverman said he will hold another hearing next Friday to further consider conditions proposed by the rap star’s lawyers that may prompt him to release their client pending trial. T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, Jr., was arraigned at the Friday hearing. He entered a plea of not guilty to the weapons charges. Lawyers for Harris proposed that he be released on a $2.2 million bond, along with separate bonds backed by his record company, record company executives and the equity of his two homes. Continue »

I dedicate this whole thing to Lamont Bentley, who played my brother Hakeem on Moesha. He passed away in a car accident two years ago and what he really, really wanted to do was rap. So I did all of this in his honor.”

Good for her…now all she has to do is stop wearing those god-awful blue contacts to really step that D-List game up.
