Here is a promo shot of Rihanna for the H&M “Fashion Against AIDS” campaign. Twenty-five percent of the profits from this line will be donated to AIDS and HIV prevention.
“Fifty percent of the people newly infected with HIV are aged between 15 and 24. There’s an urgent need to do something in this target group. By combining fashion with music in this way we hope to get these young people to stop and think.”

Someone really has love for New York. The word is that New York and George Weisgerber b.k.a. Tailor Made are officially engaged. We’re not sure if it was the money or wig-wearing Sister Patterson’s desire to have some mixed grandkids. Apparently, this white boy is packing more than Tango.

Rev. Run and Justine’s wish was granted when Miley Justine Simmons’ adoption was finalized in September. The American-born baby was 1-month old when she joined the clan.
It’s good to adopt children from poor nations. It’s even better to not overlook those in your own backyard. Congrats to them!

Who would have thought that Minister Louis Farrakhan was still taking care of his grown ass 48 year-old son? His old ass is still mooching off his dad now and won’t pay up for an accident he caused back in 2003:
A Gary couple are seeking to collect $350,000 from Farrakhan’s 48-year-old son, who lost a lawsuit after crashing his father’s Hummer into their car in 2003 and leaving the scene. Nasir Farrakhan has yet to pay any of the punitive damages awarded to Charles and Gladys Peterson, though they received $464,000 for their medical expenses from his insurance company. The younger Farrakhan has said he cannot pay because he has no income, has never been employed and has no checking account or savings. He argues the $1,400 in cash he receives from his father each month is legally considered charity, even though Nasir Farrakhan has acted as head of the minister’s 20-man security force for many years.
SMH. Get a job nicca.

Meagan Good takes the award for looking like a robbery victim at every outing. Where the hell was her purse in ’07? We have spent the last year viewing every lip gloss shade, tissue, condoms and cigarettes that she can stuff into the palm of her hand.
We hope someone took note and bought the girl a bag this Christmas. She will appreciate it, just like those damn earrings that she wore in every pic.

The tables have turned and now reports are saying that the woman who was killed in Brandy’s car crash last year is at fault:
The woman who died in the car accident involving Brandy actually struck the vehicle in front of her before Brandy made any contact. The law enforcement source says Awatef Aboudihaj, the woman who died, struck the car in front of her, which was going 65 mph, and then slammed on her brakes. We’re told the sudden stop caused Brandy to hit the dead woman’s car. L.A. County Coroner spokesperson states that the toxicology reports show Aboudihaj had “slight traces” of marijuana in her system at the time of the crash. The L.A. City Attorney has until the end of the business day on Friday to decide whether to file criminal charges against Brandy, that’s when the one-year statute of limitations runs out.
It’s all surfacing now just at the right time. They’re just now figuring out that there were slight traces of marijuana in her system? Either that or someone has a good lawyer. SMH.

One of the most entertaining lyricists in the game is pushing his Ghostface doll. Funny commercial, but who the hell is buying this sh*t? Especially at $500 a pop.

It’s a slow news day and we are tired of looking at Chris Stokes grill so here is a little more Holiday Swirl.
Reggie Bush was out sporting his girl Kim Kardashian at the mall while doing some Christmas shopping on Monday.
Doesn’t look like they want to hide the relationship anymore.
Kim is looking good.

Who would have thought that a kid named “Blanket” would cause serious damage to someone’s face. It’s reported that the 5 year-old son of Michael Jackson smacked his father in the face causing his upper lip to burst. Jacko ran to his plastic surgeon for emergency surgery causing the freak show above.
Imagine if Blanket grew up with the original Jackson clan. Joe would never lay a hand on a kid with a punch like that.

Halle’s baby will be the luckiest kid in the world. The rumor is that Oprah will have the honor of being the baby’s godmother. If Oprah can give her audience members a car, can you imagine this kids life?
Between those two and their bank accounts, we will need a “Raining on These Hoes: Baby Edition”.

Just when you think Will is on top of the world, someone finds a way to bring him down. Following the box office success of “I Am Legend”, Will told a Scottish paper the following:
“Even Hitler didn’t wake up going, ‘Let me do the most evil thing I can do today.’ I think he woke up in the morning and using a twisted, backwards logic, he set out to do what he thought was ‘good.’”
The Jewish Defense League is pretty pissed off and asked that his film be boycotted. Do you think it was that serious?
P.S. What the hell is up with that peace sign?

’07 has been an interesting year for Kelly Rowland. With disappointing record sales for Ms. Kelly, coming out with insecurities about her skin tone and stretch marks, collapsing on stage, and having to stoop as low as to giving away complimentary tickets for a show in Atlantic City, this chick still managed to cl*t-ride Beyonce and the Knowles camp. Poor Thang.
Runner up: Kim Porter
Here is a recent Kelly interview:

What happens when your career isn’t going as planned? You kick someone’s ass.
Rumor has it that Trey Songz and his goons beat down some white boys who threw ice at him while he was performing at a club. We don’t know if this is the case, but Trey proved that every R&B singer isn’t borderline queer. No Homo.
