This is taking the term “home alone” to the extreme:

A woman accused of leaving eight children with little food and no money while she traveled to Africa to marry a man she met on the Internet has been arrested. Shanell Monique Mosley, 33, was met by authorities as she got off an Air France jet Monday at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and charged with child endangerment and child abandonment for leaving the children in squalid conditions

When she left for Nigeria on December 31, Mosley told her 15 year-old daughter she would return in a month. Mosley’s children are ages 1, 7, 8, 9, 15 and 16, Jordan said. The other two children found in the home were 3 and 4 year-olds the family cared for on behalf of a single father who worked, Jordan said.

The 9 year-old son told authorities he and the baby ate a still-frozen pizza for breakfast the morning they were discovered home alone. There were no diapers, baby food or formula for the infant, no sheets on beds and fruit was rotting in a basket.

No words for this woman, really. How can you leave eight kids behind to fly across the globe to hook up wih some jumpoff you met on the internet in Africa. This ish is beyond crazy. Now this is a dumb broad right here.

Bill Cosby is coming out with a Hip Hop album called State of Emergency. The album will cover issues such as teen pregnancy, crime, drug abuse in parenting. Here is an excerpt on parenting from one of Bill’s books that was published last year:

“All black parents can do right by their children, and all black children can succeed. There is no reason why not.”

“Use standard English when you have your kids together, not Black English. They’ll hear enough of that in the streets…Watch the movie My Fair Lady. All cultures discriminate against people who have not mastered the standard language, and when race is involved, it is all that much harder for a nonstandard speaker to feel competent or even at home in the culture.”

Halle Berry discusses her opinion on race relations in Hollyweird:

“I don’t think it should matter what the color of one’s skin is. I think it’s really important to me to be part of movies that reflect the modern society. In modern times we are mixing races and having families and loving each other. I’m of a mixed race family so it’s very normal for me.”

“Before me there was no me, and now there is me and I think there’s been other people of color – Jennifer Hudson, Jamie Fox, Will Smith – that show up at those award shows every year. So I’m hopeful that things are starting to change.”

Although some say that Halle’s acting game is not really “Oscar-worthy” you have to commend her breaking the mold, and still looking fly while extremely knocked-up.

D-Roc’s opinion: “I really do dislike people who have their drawers all showing,” D-Roc says. “I wear too-big pants, but having it off my behind? No. My mama raised me right. I wear my pants above my waist. If I see someone wearing their pants like that, me personally, I’m like ‘Get away from him. He’s probably got a pistol or something on him. If you can’t give me one good reason why you’re saggin’ your pants, you need to pull your pants up!

Somebody who intentionally has their boxing drawers showing, and you don’t know how long they been wearing their boxing drawers — they look kind of dingy — that ain’t cool. I have kids myself, and this is really wrong. If I’m out with my little girl, and here he comes, showing his boxing drawers, I’m like ‘Oh, Baby, that’s not the right way to dress.
