Little Miss Myspace Blogger Solange believes that she’s in the position to give advice to teen mom Jamie Lynn:

“I have been so blessed that my son is the coolest kid ever. Of course, that first year of not sleeping and just being dedicated to him had tough parts but that’s fine. It’s been a blast for me. A lot of people have doubts, but when you have a child I think it takes a really non-emotional person not to have a blast, no matter what age. I’ve heard stories of people who were 14 that had kids and basically snapped into it and got into the groove of motherhood. I think that emotional attachment, there’s nothing out of it that you could regret.

When will she acknowledge the importance of education or a stable family for the child? These chicks see babies as fashion accessories. If your baby is the coolest kid on the block, motherhood will be a piece of cake.

Posh Spice was concerned that Snoop Dogg would have a negative influence on her husband David Beckham and their family. Snoop managed to change her opinion through his new show:

“But now she’s seen my (reality TV) show, and I think I’m cool with her now that she knows that I’m family orientated, that I have a structure and a wife.

Damn, everyone wants to befriend those Beckhams. Victoria should be concerned with her bandmate’s sexual escapades on stage. We’re sure her sons were greatly influenced by that.

Denzel and Pauletta Washington were spotted leaving Mr. Chow in Hollyweird this weekend. Denzel has been looking a tad bit scruffy lately, but we’re sure the ladies don’t mind a little five o’clock shadow coming from him.

In other Denzel news, his movie “The Great Debaters” will get no play at the White House:

The highly praised film, starring Oscar-winners Washington and Forest Whitaker, was just nominated for eight NAACP Image Awards. But a memo from the White House’s Paris Dennard, which this column has seen, says that “there will not be a screening here at the White House. I could not get time on President Bush or Mrs. Bush’s calendars.”

An episode of the Boondocks that was scheduled for January 7th, never hit the airwaves on Cartoon Network. The episode was to put BET executives Debra Lee and Reginald Hudlin on blast saying that they just recycle old MTV reality shows and make them black. Here is an excerpt from the show:

“Weggie Rudlin, my Harvard-educated President of Entertainment, tell me about the eeevil shows you have in development,” the woman (Dr. Leevil) barks to her executive as she pets a hairless animal and places her pinky finger at the corner of her mouth.

Weggie Rudlin, a man who strongly resembles BET’s President of Entertainment, Reginald Hudlin, stands before her meekly and says: “My Harvard education tells us that our goal is to take all the s***ty reality shows that MTV did five years ago and make them black… Next month we’re going to have our first award show honoring video hoes, or as I like to call it, a hoe-wards show.”

The Boondocks is hilarious. We wonder why this episode didn’t make it to Adult Swim. Hmmm.

Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch may be up for foreclosure sooner than later:

The mortgage broker trying to find refinancing for Jackson on a $23 million loan held by Fortress Investments using Neverland as security has so far come up empty. There is literally no interest from anyone in saving Jackson in this situation. If Neverland is not refinanced, Fortress can foreclose and sell the ranch at auction. Recently, Fortress laid off $300 million in loans to Jackson on HSBC. The refinancing resulted in Jackson’s paying off around $20 million in debt, but it still left him cash-strapped and unable to deal with the Neverland crisis.

Jackson has recently been living rent-free with his three children in the Palms casino in Las Vegas as a guest of the Maloof brothers. The Maloofs would be the latest hosts upon whom Jackson has mooched, following Prince Abdullah of Bahrain, dancer Michael Flatley and Prince Jefri of Brunei.

He better get his Billie Jean swagger back, and produce some stacks from this new Thriller project. Otherwise, Neverland will no longer be his. Poor thang.

Times Union, a newspaper serving Albany and Saratoga, New York is reporting that some non-athletes may be involved in steroid use:

The names of R&B music star Mary J. Blige, along with rap artists 50 Cent, Timbaland and Wyclef Jean, and award-winning author and producer Tyler Perry, have emerged in an Albany-based investigation of steroids trafficking that has already rocked the professional sports world. Information has surfaced recently showing those stars are among tens of thousands of people who may have used or received prescribed shipments of steroids and injectable human growth hormone in recent years. Law enforcement officials have said they have no evidence in their sprawling multistate probe that customers, including Blige or other entertainers, violated any laws. Instead, they are targeting anti-aging clinics, doctors and pharmacists who prescribed the drugs. For many celebrities, the lure of hormonal drugs is their supposed, unproven anti-aging effects. Damn this Becky must’ve had him sprung:

Former Miami Heat star Glen Rice was arrested Friday on a felony battery charge after police say he beat a man he found hiding in his estranged wife’s closet. Rice arrived at the house where estranged wife Christina Rice lives, demanding to know the identity of the man she was with and what he was doing at the home. He found Alberto Perez, 37, in the master bedroom closet and began beating him, police say, all the while screaming obscenities. Rice physically removed Perez from the bedroom by the neck, according to the report. Perez then fled the home and called police. He received a cut to his forehead that needed nine stitches.

The 6-foot-8 Rice surrendered to police and was released after posting $5,000 bond. It was not immediately known if he had an attorney. As of March, the Rices were married nine years and have three young children.

This sounds like some pure comedy, especially with that grown ass man hiding in the closet. SMH.
