The girlfriend of Steelers WR Cedrick Wilson was arrested this weekend:
The girlfriend of Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Cedrick Wilson was arrested Sunday after a nearly 12-hour standoff at Wilson’s home that led to the evacuation of about 70 neighbors. Lindsey Paulat was charged with aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person. The standoff began a few hours after an argument Saturday morning between Wilson and Paulat. Wilson left his Pine Township home about noon and Paulat’s mother came to talk to her. While her mother was there, Paulat fired two shots from Wilson’s handgun into a wall. No one was injured. Paulat’s mother left and police were called around 1 p.m. EST; neighbors were later evacuated as a precaution. The standoff ended when Paulat threw the gun from the front door. She was taken into custody about 12:45 a.m. Sunday.
Evacuating 70 residents because some NFL dude’s little girlfriend got out of pocket? Sounds like a bit much, but such is life when you choose to date crazy broads.

Another day, another lawsuit. Your boy Diddy is being sued for another assault that happened almost a year ago:
Four eyewitnesses support Gerard Rechnitzer, who alleges that Combs assaulted him and his girlfriend at a post-Oscar party on Feb. 25, 2007 outside Teddy’s at the Roosevelt Hotel.
“I just kind of remember seeing him go flying, not flying as in like feet off the ground, but he went back significantly,” said Ruiz, one of the witnesses on the scene. “I was just in shock that somebody would … just kind of strike somebody out of nowhere.”
Damn, Puffy not only assaulted the dude, but his broad too? With celebs and the law these days, we pretty sure Diddy will come out of this situation with a little anger management class and that’s it. SMH.

Reggie Bush and that ho Kim Kardashian were spotted at the Sundance Film Festival.
Is this smiling fool trying to turn Kim K into a wife? A highly placed source close to Kim Kardashian told Bossip a few weeks ago that they are not engaged “yet”.

Looks like a slizzard Cuba Gooding, Jr. was the life of the party at the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational Gala in the Bahamas.

Good news on the status of Nate Dogg’s stroke:
Nate Dogg is paralyzed on the left side of his body after suffering a mild stroke over the holidays, according to his manager. The prognosis for a full recovery, however, is good, the singer did not suffer any brain damage nor has his voice been affected.
“Time will tell everything, obviously. The doctor can only guess what the outcome will be,” McGrew said. “But based on situations with similar people his age, and based on his health, the prognosis is good right now.”
Glad to hear Nate will be okay.

The checks are about to start rolling in for Gary Coleman. The bid for his autographed Gap Athletic pants made it up to $400,000:
Bidding on eBay reached $400,000 on Thursday for a pair of navy blue, size 12XL-Regular Gap Kids sweatpants signed by the former child star. Yes, $400,000. And it could get higher still. The auction wasn’t set to close until later Thursday. On the Jan. 10 Jimmel Kimmel Live, three days after the Coleman auction commenced, Kimmel expressed his deepest desire for the pants, and placed a bid of about $80. Later that night, bids cracked the three-figure mark. Four minutes after that, they cracked the four-figure mark. Five days later, on Jan. 15, the first apparently legit $100,000-plus bid was placed.
Legit 400K bids? Ooooooh Gary is about to come up for real. Good for him. This makes us feel better, since he really was about to become the poster child of “When The Checks Stop Coming In”
.
Thanks Joy

Ginuwine recently slapped a lawsuit on his record company and this isn’t the first time he has tried to collect some stacks in the courts. Of course, he says he is owed some stacks:
The artist’s lawsuit says King Music Group and Bourné’s latest breaches have resulted in significant damages and numerous lost professional opportunities for Ginuwine, as well as his inability to record new material.
The crooner’s original lawsuit claimed that King Music Group failed to pay him monies stipulated in the recording contract. In addition, the previous lawsuit claimed that Ginuwine was deceived into signing an agreement with the record company that was later found not to exist.
Let’s hope he gets some stacks from this, by the look of some recent pictures, we thought he may go back to strippin’.

Here is Brandy recently doing some shopping in LA. With that smile, she may have called the papparazi herself, just to get a good shot of the boots she is rockin.
Now that her murder case is out the way, she should try putting something out before people remember her for being Ray-J’s crazy sister who dabbled in scientology and killed someone with her car.

The National Enquirer is reporting that this suspect wedding was a fiasco from the jump:
Eddie, 46, and Tracey, 40, invited only family members and a few close friends to celebrate their union, “but it was as if their families hated each other on sight…” Eddie’s mother felt Tracey was a “gold digger,” says the friend – and Tracey’s mother felt Eddie wasn’t “good enough” for her daughter. “The mothers didn’t even want to sit next to each other – even to eat – and it led to both sides of the family squaring off.” According to the source, the situation escalated from an uneasy tension to outright confrontation that included “yelling and cussing.” And this was even before Eddie and Tracey took their vows!
Sounds like some straight FUBU ish right there. SMH.

Beyonce has agreed to perform at the Grammy’s and is willing to cross the Writer’s Guild strikers’ picket lines. How exciting. Hopefully she has some new material.
We know she puts on one hell of a performance, but with all those damn videos and the “Beyonce Experience” on DVD the whole world has already seen enough of this broad to hold us over for a few years.
