Mary found her dream home while house hunting recently:

“Grammy winner Mary J. Blige plunked down $12.3 million in cash for a Saddle River, N.J., mansion, ‘She fell in love with this one,’ a source said of Blige, who checked out several houses in the swanky area before settling on the 18,250-square-foot dream pad.”

$12.3 million in cash?? Just is case you were wondering, we now know those pockets are beyond phat. Her stack game is definitely on point.

It’s about damn time they finalized this ‘divorce’:

Kimora Lee Simmons filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Russell Simmons, in Los Angeles County Superior Court Tuesday. In court papers, Kimora, 32, cites irreconcilable differences and asks for legal and physical custody of the couple’s two daughters, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5. She requests that Simmons, 50, get “reasonable child visitation … to be accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.

Blood Diamond’s reply to the whole issue:

“Although I haven’t read the papers, I’m excited for closure on this issue. I love her to def and I will always wish her happiness and success.”

Clearly he’s got a piece of that Yoga-ass, so he’s good to go.

This time the culprit is the late Gerald Levert’s brother Sean:

The brother of late crooner Gerald Levert sentenced to prison for not paying child support. Sean Levert will spend the next 22-months behind bars. Levert owes $85,427.68 in back child support for his three children – ages 11, 15 and 17. Levert was sentenced Monday by Judge Nancy Margaret Russo. He did not speak at his sentencing.

That’s a lot of paper to owe, especially since those checks from being in the group LeVert stopped coming in in the late 80′s.

The LA Times gives a big round of apologies for using fake documents developing the Tupac story:

“The Los Angeles Times apologized for using documents that were apparently fabricated in a story implicating associates of Sean “Diddy” Combs in a 1994 assault on rapper Tupac Shakur. Editor Russ Stanton said, ‘The bottom line is that the documents we relied on should not have been used…We apologize both to our readers and to those referenced in the documents … and in the story.’”

This definitely sounds suspect. Diddy is probably giddy than a mf right about now though.

Now this is some new ish:

“Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin could save her house, if she promises to never wear fur again. The singer reportedly now owes a total of $19,192 in back taxes…But now PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) have offered to help her out. The animal rights group has written a letter to Franklin offering to pay her $19,000 tax bill if she promises to never wear fur again.”

Smart move. PETA knows it would take a whole gaggle of critters to cover Aretha’s wide load. Aretha should take the deal. She’ll save her house, and several thousand lil’ creatures (and that’s just for one of her custom made coats).

Diddy’s been mixin’ it up on the sly:

“Cameron Diaz and P.Diddy have been going out on some secret dates lately. The two were spotted dining at Osteria Mozza restaurant on March 15. They arrived at the restaurant separately but left together through the back. Cameron was already seated when Diddy arrived wearing a brown Jump Suit and brought his own bottle of red wine wrapped in a ghetto Ralph’s plastic bag. It was obvious they were on a date as the couple giggled and flirted with each other during dinner.”

Yeah, that sounds like Diddy, plastic bag and all. Check out the thumbnails. Guess Diddy has a thing for the Nassatall too!

Diddy, who has been linked to actresses Sienna Miller and Penelope Cruz, spit the following verse on the ‘We Fly High’ remix while he was with Kim Porter:

Widener, Arkansas Mayor Abron Pitts was charged on Saturday night for DWI and public drunkenness. While being arrested, he confessed:

“I drinks! You understand that. I don’t deny. I’m not going to deny I hadn’t had one beer or two because it’s the weekend.”

Mayor Pitts was also cited for driving without insurance. This dude here, he takes the “Crackhead Mayor” stereotype to a whole new level. And to think, he’s Widener’s first Black mayor.

Tyra Banks and Jay Manuel are about to get their brawl on:
