Quote of the Day

After endorsing that shady Hillary Clinton, 50 Cent has turned a new cheek and supports our boy Barack:

“I heard Obama speak. He hit me with that he-just-got-done-watching-‘Malcolm X,’ and I swear to God, I’m like, ‘Yo, Obama!’ I’m Obama to the end now, baby!”

“To be honest, I haven’t been following that anymore. I lost my interest,” he said. “I listened to some of the debates and things that they were saying, and I just got lost in everything that was going on…Don’t look for my vote, for me to determine nothing on that. Just say, ’50 Cent, he don’t know, so don’t ask Fiddy.’ I just think there’s people that might not be ready for an African-American president. It’ll be an issue, believe it or not.”

“You’ve got to be conscious of racism, period. And it’s still there. We don’t deal with it as often as my grandparents did. My grandparents grew up in South Carolina, so they experienced the heart of that.”

We see Bugsy has tried to step it up a notch. SMH.

Weezy Wants 20 Minute Dedications

Mister F. Baby is featured in the May ’08 issue of Vibe magazine and shares his thoughts on a few topics:

His response when questioned about his lifestyle:

Don’t judge me until you meet me. And you know when you gonna meet me? Never. So don’t judge me. Don’t worry about my health because what you doing? And when you tell me what you doing, I bet it ain’t half as great as what I’m doing. I smoke, drink, and do what, who, and how I want and I’m going to keep doing. And I’ma die the way I want. And that’s that.

On his legacy:

I wanna be a Bob Marley. I wanna be a Tupac. Their lives mean so much. I wanna mean so much after I’m gone. Y’all still gotta do shows, tributes, dedicate 20 whole minutes to me on every show. I want that.

Lil Wayne on wanting respect as an artist:

I still feel like I’m not being respected. I still feel like I don’t have the crown. I still feel like there’s something I have to do that hasn’t been done. Continue »

Like Brother and Sister

Here is what C Breezy and Rihanna had to say in regards to their relationship recently at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards:

Chris: “We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister. They keep asking me, ‘What’s the deal?’ I’m like, ‘There’s no deal. No deal.’ We’re just friends.”

Rihanna:”We both started our careers around the same time. He is one of the only people in the industry … I trust and hang out with all the time. If he was a boyfriend, I would say that.”

Whatever the case my be: best friends or “brother and sister”, Little Miss Sunshine is still getting those jaws worked.

Check out the thumbnail shots. What brother and sister you know wear matching bracelets?

Da Brat was spotted in London last night looking stud-like as usual. She looks like a mini-Dennis Rodman in all that damn Ed Hardy gear.

Meanwhile, Mariah Carey was photographed at arriving at her London hotel:

Jack Attack (He may be Back)

Posted by Bossip Staff

michael jackson

The artist that used to be known as Michael Jackson may return to the stage:

“Michael Jackson, whose fortunes financially and theatrically have trickled down, was offered $35 mil. To some this is hardly decent money, but since he’s in hock and bankrupt and borrowing and semibusted, the amount is not really an insult, right? The deal calls for him to re-emerge. In Person. And do his “Thriller” shtick. Not on video. In the flesh. In London’s Millennium Dome, which seats 20,000. Should it work, should he be a hit, should the thing go, should he be able to sustain the pressure, should he sell out, he’d get another 20 nights. Promoters are asking – is he broke enough to go back onstage live?”

Who knows? This could turn his family fortune around. Not likely though. On the plus side, Michael should have no trouble at all reprising the role of the Thriller. He won’t even need to use any additional make up.
