The Game shows his outrage and support for the Bell family. He plans on releasing a song in response to Bell’s death:

“I’m outraged and speaking out for my generation that are afraid to speak out against police brutality and murder, I grew up in Compton and had to stay silent because of the fear that was prevalent in my community, but now that I have a voice I’m speaking out.”

Whitney’s up to her usual brand of madness again:

“R&B diva Whitney Houston disappointed a sold-out crowd who came to see a rare performance by the trouble-prone singer at the Plymouth Jazz Festival in Tobago on Sunday. Houston opened her show with ‘Its Not Right, But Its Okay’ and by her third song, ‘Saving All My Love,’ the once soprano’s newfound tenor tone was in full rasp. Wearing a white gown with a single shoulder strap, Houston skipped around the stage and continuously shouted to the crowd: ‘I love you Trinidad !’ Unfortunately, the concert was in Tobago! Locals shouted back each time: ‘This is Tobago!’”

The days when Whitney belted out those classic tunes are officially behind her. We’d actually feel sorry for her if she didn’t earn $3 million bucks for that mediocre 30 minute performance.

Estelle denies that receord label execs asked her her to soften up her “tomboy” steez:

[Estelle] was reportedly asked by chiefs at John Legend’s new label Homeschool Records to fix her teeth and alter her hair. But the star admits it was her choice to get braces for her teeth, insisting her label is impressed with her image. She says, ‘They know me. I came with a look. I came with my style and they were grateful. They were like, ‘Thank God we don’t got to worry about putting you in a pair of pants or giving you a weave.’ ‘I think because I got braces everyone said the label said it. I been trying to get braces since 2000 and I finally did it.”

We applaud her effort to step up her femininity, but perhaps we can suggest she wear that retainer a little while longer.

“A South Carolina judge has ordered a paternity test for the 6-year-old son of a woman who claims to be James Brown’s widow. Trustees handling the singer’s estate questioned the claims by Tomi Rae Hynie that her son is Brown’s, attorneys representing Hynie and the child said.

‘Clearly, James Brown has held up this child to be his son,’ said Peter Shahid, a court-appointed attorney for James Brown 2nd, adding that the child has received Social Security and insurance benefits since the soul singer’s death.”

James Brown’s trailer park ‘trophy’ widow Tomi Rae Hynie is trying to secure her fortune through her (meal ticket) son. We’re really curious to learn the results of this one. Stay tuned……
