A judge has ruled in favor of No Cent – this time:

Rapper 50 Cent can keep using his lawyer Brett Kimmel after beating a bid from ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins to have him thrown off the case. Tompkins – who the star is battling over a home he owns, and she lived in until it was burned down earlier this year – claimed Kimmel had a conflict of interest, because she attempted to hire him to represent her during her child support battle with 50 Cent three years ago.

But Kimmel and the rapper – who has an eleven year old son, Marquis, with Tompkins – successfully argued the two cases are unrelated and that Kimmel never had an attorney-client relationship with her. New York judge Carol Edmead has thrown out the bid. 50 Cent is attempting to overturn a court decision to freeze insurance money on the New York house. 

Unlike the Simmons’, this is one couple who doesn’t seem to mind exposing their son to the full brunt of their insanity. Bugsy ought to break Shaniqua off properly and cease with all this damned drama already.

Update: According to OK Magazine No Cents is trying to get custody of young Marquis:

“I’m going to try and get him when I go to court on the 17th,” he [said]. “I’ll see if I can get him.”

Kimora Lee Simmons attended the Make-A-Wish Foundation luncheon at American Girl Place along with her two daughters Ming Lee and Aoki yesterday. During a recent interview, Kimora comments on BDR and their divorce:

I couldn’t ask for a better father [for my kids]. I’ve been through a lot. I know that women everywhere especially with kids know what I’m saying and it’s difficult when you go through a little bit of a break up or situation in your family–and it’s helping me to find a supportive system and be able to work it out and move on and I think I’m doing that in style. [She and Russell Simmons] help each other with everything now. He’s very supportive.

That’s the least she can say after BDR made that public announcement regarding her motherhood skills. Well, at least it seems they’re trying to keep it civil for the kids sake.

Nate Dogg rolled up in court yesterday:

Showing up to court in a wheelchair—the result of a stroke suffered six months ago that left him partially paralyzed. The Prodigal Son rapper pleaded not guilty today to felony charges stemming from his arrest last month for threatening his estranged wife.Dogg, faces two felony counts of making criminal threats, one felony count of stalking and one misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license from a previous DUI.

He was released on $50,000 bond, which Compton Superior Court Commissioner Joel Wallenstein upped to $100,000 this morning. After doing so, the commissioner ordered the bailiff to temporarily place Dogg in a holding area until his camp paid the additional $50,000. [Nate Dogg's] next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 1, at which point a judge will decide whether or not there’s enough evidence for the case to go to trial.

Word is, he also allegedly emailed his estranged wife death threats. Now if his wheelchair bound ass can wreak all this havoc, he’s pretty much a lost cause. SMH.

Peep Mariah trying to re-live her high school days or some sh*t. According to sources, Mariah Carey and boy toy Nick Cannon spent some time at Disney World after their two week trip to the Bahamas:

The famous lovebirds spent Tuesday enjoying the Florida theme parks’ wild rides, including the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, the famous indoor coaster Space Mountain (Nick’s favorite ride), and the stomach-plunging Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (Mariah’s favorite.)

Here these two go again. It’s about time they lay low for a minute – this fake-ass foolishness has got to come to an end.

Former UFC Champ Quinton “Rampage” Jackson snapped while behind the wheel yesterday:

The just-defeated UFC champ was busted yesterday afternoon for alleged felony hit and run. Rampage was on the 55 Freeway in the O.C., hit two cars and got off the freeway.

Rampage then began driving on the center divider. According to the police report, Jackson then drove on the sidewalk, “causing pedestrians to flee for their lives.” He started driving the wrong way on a crowded street, colliding with yet another car in an intersection. As he continued on, running several red lights, his tire disintegrated and he began driving on the rim.

Rampage eventually got to the exclusive Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, where he again drove on the sidewalk, “causing pedestrians to flee in terror.”

Eventually, his car came to a stop and he was taken into custody at gunpoint. Cops took him to the Orange County Jail, but they determined he was “medically unfit” to be booked. Cops won’t say if he was high. He’s since been treated and released on $25,000 bail.

This cat was released on bail after endangering all those folks? His crazy ass needs to marinate behind bars for a minute, and have his driving privileges revoked in the process.

The Game is still talking all that retirement ish:

The Game plans to spend his retirement with the mother of his baby son King Justice after reuniting with ex-girlfriend Tiffany Webb earlier this year.

The How We Do hitmaker, real name Jayceon Taylor, recently revealed his upcoming third album, L.A.X., will be his last – because he wants to spend more time as a family man.

And that’s good news for Webb, who split up with The Game when she was pregnant. The rapper then announced his engagement to actress Valeisha Butterfield, but that was short lived. He says, “Me and Valeisha is in the past. I’m now with my youngest son’s mom, and that’s about it.” Webb gave birth to the couple’s son in April, 2007.

We’re still not buying this crap about retirement, but it sounds like Tiffany done lucked out – she’s the flavor of the month again. We suggest she milk it for all it’s worth.
