We feel bad that she was murdered, but this sounds like some pure comedy indeed:

A one-legged hooker was killed in Brooklyn after a john hit her over the head, causing her to fall backwards out of her wheelchair and slam her skull against the wall, cops said yesterday.

Elizabeth Acevedo, 38, was found lying unconscious on the floor of a hallway on the 13th floor of a building in the Wyckoff Gardens houses in Boerum Hill on Thursday morning. The handicapped hooker, who lived in the building, was taken to Long Island College Hospital, where she died yesterday morning after being removed from life support, police said. Acevedo – who lost her leg in a train accident – had a rap sheet with 67 arrests for prostitution and drug charges. She wore a prosthetic leg, but also used a wheelchair. Investigators believe she had been servicing a client in the hallway who then hit her on the head with a heavy object. Police were still looking for a suspect.

HIP-hop mogul Jay-Z is paying respect to the folks who protect his privacy. The notoriously stealthy rapper penned a re-mix of “Blow the Whistle” that gives a shout-out to his favorite nightlife impresario, Richie Akiva. Jay-Z includes the lyrics, “When I’m not at Butter, I’m at 1Oak,” referring to two of Akiva’s Manhattan hotspots. The re-mix is played only at 1Oak – a club that never alerts the media when Jay and his wife, Beyoncé, show up there to party.

A cop pulled a gun on rap mogul Sean (Diddy) Combs during a routine traffic stop in Los Angeles, authorities said Sunday. A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy briefly brandished his weapon at Combs on the Sunset Strip after cops pulled over a car driven by a member of his entourage.

“A deputy pulled his firearm, fearing for his safety,” said a sheriff’s department spokesman. “The situation was deflated as quickly as it began.” Combs spokeswoman Keesha Johnson said the cop did not pull the gun directly on the rapper, and stressed that the officers were “really respectful.”

The trouble started when a member of Combs’ entourage was stopped at 3:15a.m. Saturday after cops noticed the rental car he was driving didn’t have proper tags. The deputy called for backup after two cars stopped nearby as the deputy searched the vehicle, police said. One member of the group was detained when he became uncooperative, prompting six or seven others – including Combs – to advance toward the deputy, a source said. The driver was not issued a ticket because the car was a rental, and nobody was hurt in the incident, police said.

The US Men’s Olympic Team won the Gold:

Order is restored in international basketball. The United States is back on top, but not by that much anymore. Culminating a three-year mission to end years of embarrassment, the U.S. Olympic team survived a huge challenge from Spain, winning 118-107 Sunday in the gold-medal game. After overwhelming everyone for seven games, the Americans led by only four points with under 2½ minutes to play. Then the U.S. proved it could handle a close game that seemed would never come in Beijing. Their prize: the first U.S. gold medal since the 2000 Olympics.

Shar Jackson celebrated her birthday in Vegas recently with her tig ole bittie swag in full effect. Her favorite person K-Fraud was even in the building:

“We were friends before we were a couple and we’re always going to be friends,” Jackson told PEOPLE at Wynn Las Vegas before entering the party. “We have two amazing kids together. Kevin is my boy.” She’s not kidding. Their reunion came only a few hours after the two hung out together in a VIP cabana at Tao Beach with friends and family. Jackson, however, insists that there is no talk of rekindling the flame. “We have passed that stage.”

Must be nice to keep collecting those Britney checks.
