Michelle Obama supported her husband Barack at the first presidential debate this past Friday.  This is who we need in the White House.

The current issue of Newsweek Magazine mentioned Bossip readers’ thoughts on Obama.

It should come as no surprise that the petulant little girl that is Bugs Monkey has a slew of demands to be met before his performance in Chile. As reported on Livesteez, among the elaborate demands for his entourage are filet mignon, cognac, 12 black towels, 12 white towels, fruit (haha), and two types of jelly. We’re afraid to ask what the jelly is for… eww.

Keri Hilson Does Page Six Magazine

Posted By Bossip Staff

Keri Hilson shares some thoughts on her emergence as a solo artist:

“Everything I write has always been personal. The difference is now I can’t hide behind the person I’m writing for,” says R&B singer-songwriter Keri Hilson. The 25-year-old has been penning hits for stars like Mary J. Blige and Usher since she was 18, and is currently working on Britney Spears’ upcoming album Circus. “Britney already made a comeback!” says Keri, who also wrote the 2007 hit “Gimme More.” “That was a top 10 record.” But now Keri, who’s spending an increasing amount of time in the Big Apple, is finally set to drop her own sure-to-be-a-hit album, In a Perfect World…, in early November.

The truth is that Kerri Hilson is a bad, bad chick and even behind the scenes, she wasn’t really hiding. We are glad to see her develop as a solo artist and can’t wait for the new album. Here’s a note to the album design team: the more pictures of Keri, the better!

Another Day, Another Ganking

Posted by Bossip Staff

As reported on Livesteez, Sean Kingston thought it would be a good idea to have his sister send that tacky $500,000 crayon box chain via FedEx and got his sh!t ganked. This sounds mighty damn suspicious if you ask us, especially since the package was only insured for $500. He must have been trying to get some of his money back; they have a very strict no refunds policy at Habeeb’s Quicky Mart. SMH

Random Ridiculousness

Looks like our favorite little Build-A-Bear had too much to drink on his birthday:

Jermaine Dupri had a little too much of a good time celebrating his 36th birthday. The other night, Dupri and his squeeze, Janet Jackson, went to Tenjune, where, spies say, they shared bottles of Jay-Z’s Ace of Spades Champagne and Patrón tequila with Ne-Yo, Busta Rhymes and Ice-T – until Dupri “vomited in Janet’s lap. Ms. Jackson bolted out of the scene and sped off in her chauffeured Maybach.” A rep for Jackson and Dupri didn’t return calls. A rep for Tenjune declined to comment. Meanwhile, we hear Dupri is under some stress at work. The head of urban music for Island/Def Jam put out his lady’s last album, “Discipline,” which flopped. Our insider said, “[IDJ head] L.A. Reid had wanted to make changes to the album, make it fresher with some newer artists added in, but Janet said no – and Jermaine backed her up. He looks silly right now.”

Everyone has to call Earl every now and again.  SMH.

Quote of the Day

Obama did his first interview since the Friday night debate with MTV:

Friday night’s often-testy debate with Republican nominee John McCain, specifically McCain’s repeated assertions that his experience makes him the stronger candidate and that Obama “just doesn’t understand” the complexities of issues like foreign policy and the economy.

“I don’t get taken aback by that kind of stuff. The problem was, every time he said it, when he tried to follow it up with an actual statement about policy or his positions about what it was he presumably understood or did ‘get,’ it didn’t make much sense,” Obama told MTV News’ Sway Calloway. “If you look at Iraq, for example, the question was asked, ‘What lessons have you learned?’ and his lesson was ‘Well, we should just stay.’ Well, that’s not a policy. D. Wade Likes His Privacy

Posted by Bossip Staff

dwaynewade.jpg

Dwyane Wade speaks abut his personal life:

“I keep my personal life my personal life,” Wade said. “You try to keep it as private as you can. When things leak out, it’s not always the truth. Some is. All you can do is continue being who you are. A lot of things have come out about me, and people are going to think what they want to think. But at the end of the day, no one knows what’s happened in my life to get to the point where me and my wife, our family, not being together.” Wade and Siohvaughn Funches were grade-school sweethearts and married before he entered the NBA. They had two children, and court records show the divorce process began late last year, roughly around the time the season began. He has not divulged any details of the breakup. Continue »
