Rocawear and Jay-Z celebrated the "New Face of Rocawear Ladies" Ciara with an Armand de Brignac toast at Buddakan last night in NYC. Who was the old face of Rocawear Ladies? I haven't seen anyone wearing Rocawear in a minute, but with that multi-million dollar Iconix deal and Ciara as the spokesperson, Rocawear might actually become a brand to 'rock'.

Ciara's signature matrix moves are back, and Reggie Bush makes his 'acting debut' (LOL) in this gender-bending video. I wanna like it, really I do, but there's just too much "Aaliyah-ness" going on here for me. Ciara portrays a boy a little TOO well in this one, almost as good as Hilary Swank in "Boys Don't Cry". I had to watch it again to see if those were her real arms---and they are. Enjoy.

According to Natasha over at YBF, there have been rumors swirling that Reggie Bush and Ciara have been messing around and the two were spotted chatting it up at the Clive Davis Grammy party. By the looks of things, something appears to be brewing between these two. Reggie Bush is said to have been rolling around with a Hummer full of blondes during Superbowl weekend in Miami.

Word out of Queens is that Ciara (r.) and 50 Cent have been seeing a lot of each other since collaborating on a track from her recent album, "Ciara: The Evolution." The two were together Thursday night, looking like a couple trying not to look like a couple. The rapper was spotted in his car in LeFrak City with "Ciara in the backseat, attempting not to be seen," said a source. Another source describe the pair to us as "a new underground couple." The two artists worked together on her song "Can't Leave 'Em Alone."


SMH. Since hearing about 25 Cent pushing back Styles P's album, we had to reduce 25 Cent to "5 Cent". I wonder which is 5 Cent attracted to, her tomboy clothing look at times or her chest?

For About 1-2 years there's been talk of a movie about Aaliyah's life. At first Meagan Good was supposed to play her role but now Destiny Lightsy steps into the spotlight. Destiny Lightsy is the background dancer of Ciara and has been the leading lady in Usher's "Yeah" video. Now rumours say that she's supposed to play Aaliyah in the "upcoming" movie. She even dressed up like Aaliyah in the "We need a resolution" video with the exact black nails, red lips, hair cut, dress etc. Those rumours are true and Destiny Lightsy is going to play Aaliyah.

Destiny Lightsy seems like a great candidate for the Aaliyah role, unsure of Meagan Goode's dancing skills, but this girl can dance her ass off. I am a big Aaliyah fan and would hate for her to be played by someone who could not dance. Remember Destiny in Chris Brown's "Run It" video:

Actress Paula Patton who is "blue-eyed soul" singer Robin Thicke's wife attended the Deja Vu (Denzel Washington) in LA Monday. A lot of positive buzz being generated around her. You can see Paula with a more sexy look in her husbands video "Lost Without You" below, kinda dated but cool video, especially with pretty Paula in those Black shorts. If some of you were wondering, Robin Thicke is the son of Growing Pains Alan Thicke who played the father.

UPDATE: Missy came out to support "her girl" last night.

Newcomers on the scene, Vanessa Simmons and Angela Simmons. They will get a rare pass on the attire, blame it on Venessa Simmons recently looking so good.



Model Eva Pigford who will be hosting her new show on BET appeared on 106th and Park yesterday. She is clowning everyone with her "fresh and sexy" and looking hot. Doing everything right and more. Probably can expect big things from Eva in the future, the ambition is all over her face.

"Yo, some things need to be cleared up right now. First off I'd like to say that the media is absolutely ruthless and will do ANTHING to tear people down. This week particularily has been the worst with media for me. They've released statements that I never said about the intentions of my first single 'Me & U.' I never said that the song is about oral sex. Take it as you wish, I NEVER SAID THAT, EVER! Second, this week I had an interview on New York radio, first with Angie Martinez and then later with Funk Master Flex on Hot 97. What I said with both Angie and Flex was what I said, but all of it was taken out of context when sites such as Vibe.com decided to write about it. I never said that Pharrell could get it, I said that he was cute and that was on Angie Martinezs' show. Also on Angie's show, I said that I didn't have time for guys and that is exactly what I meant. It's not that people aren't good enough or however some of you may have taken it. I'M BUSY, STRAIGHT UP. I never said that I didn't like Ciara, I am actually a HUGE FAN of hers. I said that I didn't understand why we are compared, not only because I'm only on my first single, but because our styles are much different, she's soooooo talented, why would I discredit her? Lets be real. On Flex, he read into a lot, but that is what his show is about. I realized that after I was done with the show. I personally don't feel that I need to talk about this "unofficial video" again (right now). But quickly, it was a bad look that got leaked on the internet. No, I DID NOT leak it....I don't care for that video, I never have cared for it. Bow and Omarion are great guys and it was wrong of me to talk about them on air. I had no bad intentions with what I said on them, but I can understand how it would upset people. Again, I've met them both and they are very sweet and kind. The rate from 1 to 10 was BS. It didn't mean anything to me. None of them were right if I had really thought them through, but how would you feel if you were on live radio with Flex. I do wish that I said no to the suggestion of the "game." Personal apologies go out to any of the artists that were offended by their rating-they weren't real, none of them. Oh and lastly, I am aware that my live performances have been pretty bad....no excuses, I'm still getting over stage fright. I am very upset with the seris of events this week and I do not appreciate people making me look and sound crazy. I'm not a a whore or a b*tch, which is what people have been making me out to be. I'm a 19 year old girl, I'm single and I'm working my ass off. Thank you to all of the fans and supporters that have recognized my hard work."

NEW YORK -- Bow Wow and Ciara have split, a spokeswoman for Ciara has confirmed. The young celebrity couple had dated for nearly a year.

"I cannot comment on the reason, but can confirm that Ciara and Bow Wow have split," said Tracy Nguyen in a statement Monday. The spokeswoman also took the unusual step of stating that the breakup wasn't amicable.

A message left with Bow Wow's publicist wasn't immediately returned.

Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Moss, was christened Lil' Bow Wow by Snoop Dogg. He dropped the "Lil'" in 2003.

The 19-year-old rapper sang a duet with Ciara on "Like You," the second single off his fourth album, "Wanted."

Ciara, 20, was dubbed "the First Lady of Crunk & B" by Lil' Jon, who produced her debut single, "Goodies," from her 2004 album of the same name.
