Rumors are swirling that Whitney Houston showed up over the weekend at Stevie Wonder's birthday party in the Bahamas looking "stoned":

The bigger surprise of the night was the appearance of Whitney Houston, who sources tell me looked "stoned". Maybe her red eyes were just from jet lag, flying in from Los Angeles. Houston is supposedly working on her new album there after going through a yearlong rehab from drug and alcohol abuse. Since she also looked and behaved "stoned" at the pre-Grammy dinner in February — readers may recall her basically ignoring Al Gore and snickering at her table — one wonders what Houston's rehab has really added up to.

Rolling Stone guitarist Keith Richards has acknowledged snorting cocaine mixed with his father's ashes. Richards says:

“Every action generates an equal and opposite reaction. My statement about Christina Aguilera and Joss Stone was a reaction to an incident I care not to discuss in any forum, and while I may have felt justified, I do owe an apology to Christina, Joss and their families. “The comments I made about Christina Aguilera and Joss Stone were purely an act of retaliation not of malice or cruel intent. As we all have our boiling points, I sincerely apologize as this is not my character nor should I have let anyone’s actions push me to this limit. I have let my family, friends, employees and business associates down with my actions. “All content and any malicious statements that were in my control have been removed from outlets that may have posted this. “Please accept this as my formal statement and apology to all parties involved.”

Former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of cocaine in Scottsdale, Arizona early Friday morning.Cops say they stopped Iron Mike after his car almost crashed into a sheriff's vehicle while leaving a bar around 1:45 a.m. Police say Tyson was coopertive and acted like a gentleman

Rapper Snoop Dogg was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly possessing drugs and a firearm. Detectives from the Burbank Police Department served a search warrant on Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, outside NBC studios in Burbank at approximately 7:30 p.m. this evening. Police say they found the rapper in possession of cocaine, a firearm and a large amount of marijuana. He was also cited for allegedly having a false compartment in his vehicle.The rapper had just performed on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and was leaving the studio when police pulled his car over on Bob Hope Drive and placed him under arrest. Bail has been set at $60,000, and TMZ is told that the lawyer for the rap star expects him to be released sometime this evening.Law enforcement officials tell TMZ the search warrant was conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into the Dogg's arrest earlier this month at the Burbank Airport, after he allegedly tried carrying a gun in a carry-on bag onto a plane.

This is the third time Snoop has been arrested in two months so getting busted by "one-time" is not a big deal, but what the hell was he doing with some cocaine? If you think about it, bringing guns to the airport and getting arrested every week does sound like someone is smoking that shit. Multiple sources tell Bossip that Keisha ran in an elite circle of Morehouse and Spelman students in Atlanta who dabbled in cocaine while in college. The source who is a member of this circle says he witnessed Keisha do a line of coke at a party and that one of their friends from Florida dropped out of college and fell on hard times due to this cocaine culture within this elite group of primarily wealthy students. “Keisha still does coke and it is widely known by her friends, it’s not a secret” says a source.

Bossip has contacted members of this circle of Morehouse and Spelman students and Keisha’s cocaine habit is said to be beyond “dabbling”.



Sources tell Bossip that Keisha came to Spelman College during her freshman year "round and plumpy" and not only used cocaine for the high, but to lose weight as well. “Cocaine was the drug of choice to lose weight for the elite group of girls at Spelman” says another source to Bossip. Sources say Keisha still does coke but her habit is “managed and covered up pretty well.” It seems no child star from the Diff'rent Strokes and Cosby Show days made it squeaky clean from the child star syndrome.

Here is a follow up story on producer Dallas Austin. The ruler of Dubai issued a pardon on behalf of Dallas Austin after he spent time in jail for drug possession. The court sentenced Austin to four years in jail for possessing 1.26 grams of cocaine,but the decision was overturned by ruler Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.


Austin's lawyer said the terms of his release were just a matter of paper work and Austin would be home in Atlanta. Well you got lucky this time Dallas next time don't try to smuggle in nose candy to Ms. Campbell's birthday extravaganza.
