Beyonce Challenges Jhud for MTV Movie Award

Dreamgirls, Jhud and Beyonce were both nominated for Best Performance by the MTV Movie Awards. Besides competing with each other for the award, they will go up against Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Keira Knightley, and Gerard Butler who were nominated in the same category.

Mass Beyonce stan suicide is expected if Jhud wins, call the local federal authorities before it's too late.

JENNIFER Hudson might be letting her Oscar win for Best Supporting Actress in "Dreamgirls" go to her head. Besides tangling last week with Simon Cowell of "American Idol," the show that gave the ungrateful diva her big break, the singer tried to back out of performing at Saturday's taping of the Soul Train Awards show in Los Angeles. "Jennifer called Friday and said she couldn't make it," said our source. "Soul Train" producer Don Cornelius immediately called Clive Davis, the legendary J Records mogul who created the careers of Whitney Houston, Alicia Keyes and dozens of other artists. "Clive called Jennifer and read her the riot act. He said, 'Get you're ass out to L.A.' and then hung up on her."

A year ago Jennifer Hudson was an American Idol reject and now she is too good for "everyone". No one watches the FUBU Soul Train Music Awards anymore but damn, if they honor your ass, make the trip when you're just starting out. You get an Oscar, a Vogue Magazine Cover, and a new Beyonce lacefront wig and all of a sudden an award show has to beg you to come and get honored. She needs to fall back.

In other J Hud news, the singer/actress will be rewarded for making the staement "If I'd been any better at my job when I was at Burger King in my middle teens, I wouldn't be here either, so should I thank them, too?" A statement that was made when Simon Cowell was giving her sh*t for not thanking American Idol in her Oscar speech.

Or anyone else's for that matter in any movie Jennifer Hudson is in...the singer/actress recently turned down a role (a role worth 3 Million) in a Warner Bros. movie, because there was a nude scene. AND, she didn't even have to be the nude person. Yeah, she would not have even been in the scene...but since she is a role model for young women, she refuses to take any role in any movie that has a nude scene, period. Talk about strong morals. I guess she'll be one of the few celebs that won't sell their souls for a come up.

According to Ben Widdicombe at New York Daily News , Beyonce's handlers (The Knowles Entertainment Mafia)didn't want Jhud at a Grammy party hosted by People Magazine and Beyonce:

A source tells us Beyoncé's handlers did not want Hudson's name on the guest list for a party she threw with People magazine at Eleven in West Hollywood. "At a lot of events recently, it's been all about Jennifer Hudson," sniffs an insider. "Beyoncé is successful because she's continually been out there. She doesn't want to look like she's slipping."

You mean to tell me there is such thing as fake smiles and jealousy in the entertainment industry? You don't say........ Not that Holy and righteous Knowles family, they would never hate on anyone. SMH.



Jhud recently became the first Black singer to grace the cover of Vogue. Halle Berry and Oprah Winfrey have also made the Vogue cover. On the second pic (right), she looks like a style icon.

Forest Whitaker and Will Smith Nominated for Oscar

Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland) and Will Smith (The Pursuit of Happyness) were nominated for Best Actor today by the 79th Annual Academy Awards. Eddie Murphy (Dreamgirls) and Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamonds) were nominated for Best Supporting Actor. Dreamgirls was shut out the Best Picture category but Jennifer Hudson managed a nomination for Best Supporting Actress (Dreamgirls). Matthew and Tina Knowles' War with Jennifer Hudson

When Matthew Knowles is not snorting Yay , he does try to manage artists these days. It is being reported by the E Channel that Matthew is hating on Jhud because she refused to sign with his management company and because she dissed him, he tried to get her role in Dreamgirls cut down. Be careful Jennifer, Matthew Knowles is known for smashing careers up, ask LaTavia and Letoya.

"He tried to sign her halfway through production of Dreamgirls because he wanted to be her manager," my source says, "but Jennifer turned him down. That's when things really went south."...I'm told that Daddy was so insulted by her refusal to sign with him that he demanded the movie be re-edited to lessen Hudson's screen time and boost Beyoncé's. He argued that his daughter was being shortchanged but was rebuffed by the studio and the filmmakers. In one meeting with director Bill Condon, I'm told, Beyoncé's mom, Tina, went into a "tirade" about how he ruined the movie for her daughter. "It was supposed to be her Oscar role," Tina hissed, according to a source.....

Jennifer Hudson was nominated for a Golden Globe for best supporting actress today. Beyonce got a nomination for best actress for musical or comedy (separate from Best Actress-General) and Eddie Murphy got a nod for best supporting actor. Reports surfaced last week that the studio behind Dreamgirls was lobbying for Beyonce to cop Best Actress awards despite Jhud's star performance. Beyonce also copped a nomination for Best Song. Beyonce had her best face on during the 'TODAY SHOW' on NBC today where she performed. The only thing the public may not be tired of with Beyonce is her crawling on the floor and showing her backs in some tight jeans. WE HAVE SEEN "WHAT YOU GOT", OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! Time for some fresh faces and talent.

Beyonce on jealousy rumors and Jennifer Hudson getting all the shine for DREAMGIRLS via People Magazine:

"I knew that the character that I played wasn't the star," Knowles, 25, told reporters on Saturday about knowing full well that her Diana Ross-esque role of Deena Jones was less meaty than Hudson's part as Effie White – a part that is already getting Hudson Oscar buzz. "She wasn't the underdog. She didn't have the struggle and the pain and the dramatic scenes that Effie had, and I was fine with that." Taking the role was about proving herself as an actress. "I'm already a star. I already have nine Grammys. Everyone knows I can sing," Knowles said. "I did this because I wanted people to know that I can act and I can play someone so different from myself." "Because I'm a star they just automatically assume that I'm not humble enough to sit down and take a back seat, which I am." But the R&B star did admit that she would have liked to have sung Effie's song, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going," a showstopper that, in large part, helped get Jennifer Holliday a Tony Award for best actress for the original 1981 Broadway version of Dreamgirls. "I mean," said Knowles, "I wish I could've gained 20 pounds and played Effie." Asked if she'd really have packed on the weight for the part, Knowles said, "Yes. I absolutely would have, but Bill (Condon, the movie's writer-director) didn't even believe that I could be Deena. So imagine if I would've said, 'Bill, I want to be Effie.' " And Knowles has high praise for Hudson's portrayal of Effie. "Jennifer Hudson had such a pressure, first of all, never being in a film and never have done an album and still having to live up to those expectations," said Knowles. "She did incredible."

The media and critics are taking a clear side in the "Beyonce Wars" and they have crowned Jennifer Hudson as deserving of the most shine in the highly anticipated movie Dreamgirls.

NY Post is now jumping on the Jennifer Hudson bandwagon with the headline: DREAMGIRL AND IT'S NOT BEYONCE: HOW AN 'IDOL' LOSER STEALS THE HOTTEST FILM OF THE SEASON. They say Hudson was so talented in Dreamgirls that she made Beyonce look like a "pretty extra'.

After being promiscuously promoted and sometimes thrown down the throat of the public with aggressive marketing, people seem to be getting sick of Beyonce, the media critics seem to be a little late that Beyonce is not all that. And to the Beyonce cult member stans out there, everyone who thinks Beyonce and her weaves are tired are not haters, they may just be a little more objective and independent minded. Could the "mainstream media" be turning against Beyonce because she told Blender magazine "I make BLACK MUSIC"?

Jennifer Hudson Stealing Beyonce's 'Dreamgirls' Shine?

The talented Jennifer Hudson may have been kicked to the curb by the American Idol judges but something much bigger may be on the horizon, an Oscar for her performance in the move Dreamgirls. Beyonce has said her dream to to become the first Black woman to win a Grammy and an Oscar and is thought to be in contention for an Oscar but the current Oscar buzz is that Jennifer Hudson is the breakout star in the movie.



According to our friends over at TMZ:

Entertainment Weekly believes Jennifer's a shoo-in for a Best Supporting Actress nod, and New York Times reporter David Carr flat out says that Hudson "steals the show." Even Oprah called up the songstress and told her it was a "transcendent performance."
