Charles Barkley recently weighed on the Imus situation:

CHARLES Barkley thinks Don Imus should have been suspended, but not fired, for insulting the Rutgers women's basketball team. On last night's "Boomer Esiason Show" on MSG, the NBA star said, "It was an insult to those young ladies. . . . He owed them an apology. I think a suspension was warranted." Barkley criticized civil rights leaders for ignoring Imus' insults against Jews, Asians and others. "Anytime something happens, you [media] guys have a magnet on Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, like they speak for all black people . . . which is unfortunate and unfair. Al and Jesse have said racist things before. I don't think you can have selective prosecution . . . that's not right, that's not fair."

If Imus would have cut Jesse or Sharpton a check in the back office, everything would have been fine. See what happens when you don't want to be ho when it's time to be a ho. Imus needs to talk to Don Juan or Kim Kardashian to be put on some of this pimp-ho game and how it works.

Michael Jordan was spotted partying in Vegas with Eva Longoria who is currently engaged to Tony Parker who plays for the San Antonio Spurs. Sources tell TMZ that Michael Jordan and Eva were spotted hugging each other, crusty lips and all.

For an "engaged" woman, Eva sure does get around.

Jean Strahan, the ex-wife of Giants star Michael Strahan was spotted selling his items during a garage sale over the weekend. "Jamal Callaway" walked away with two televisions, with 32- and 20-inch screens, for $100. Jamal told the local newspaper:

"I get to cheer for Mike on his TV"

According to the report, they recently met up in Atlantic City and reminisced about their high school days. Kidd reportedly dumped her and went on to marry his soon to be ex-wife Joumana Kidd. Gabrielle says about being being dumped:

"I started crying, because I was going to be Mrs. Jason Kidd."

My resignation yesterday has prompted speculation and rumors that far exceeded my expectations, and it is clear that my presence would be a great distraction during the NCAA Tournament”

Carmelo Anthony and fiance' LaLa Vasquez gave birth to their first child Wednesday afternoon at 1:35 pm. Little Kiyan Anthony weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces and was 18½ inches long (a little small for an NBA baby). Awww, how precious!!! Congratulations!

Giants Star: Wife Aborted 4 Pregnancies, Wouldn't Have My Baby

New York Giants star wide receiver Amani Toomer claims that his wife "Dr. Yola Dabrowski" wouldn't have kids with him and aborted four pregnancies in his recent divorce court filing. Toomer also claims his wife "disrespected his integrity and manhood." Dabrowski has been granted $11,000 a month in temporary support and is seeking half of Amani Toomer's assets in their divorce. Former all-star basketball player Tim Hardaway when asked by CBS Channel 4 in Miami about a gay player being on his team:

"First of all I wouldn't want him on my team," said Hardaway. "Second of all, if he was on my team I would really distance myself from him because I don't think that's right and I don't think he should be in the locker room when we're in the locker room."....."Well, you know, I hate gay people," Hardaway said in response to Le Batard. "I let it be known I don't like gay people. I don't like to be around gay people. I'm homophobic. It shouldn't be in the world, in the United States, I don't like it."
