Check out Usher on the cover of Vibe’s July issue. Apparently he talks about being “married with a vengeance” and “retiring” his mother:

“[Usher] ended his 15-year professional relationship with [mother] Jonetta Patton just days before Mother’s Day last year. She then missed his wedding to Tameka Foster last August. Crazy Tameka Foster on the media turning against her to Essence Magazine:

We (black women) don’t like ourselves. If I were Hispanic, Usher would have the sexiest wife alive. If I were mixed, he’d have the sexiest wife alive.

“But he has a black girl, and it’s like, ‘She’s horrible and she’s ugly!’ “OK, maybe I don’t fit the cookie-cutter standard – 25 and a size two – but this is who he loves.”

Usher’s mother doesn’t like her so she must be color-struck too. SMH.

Star magazine is stating that Usher is one of the newest victims of the Scientology cult:

It looks like Scientology is adding another celebrity to it’s ranks… Usher! “He’s so excited,” a source close to the singer tells Star, “He’s in training now.” The reason: fatherhood! “He thinks it’s important to raise his baby as a Scientology,” says the source. Usher, who is expecting a boy with new wife Tameka Foster any day now, is so serious that he co-chaired a $1,500-a-plate fundraiser for both his New Look Foundation and Scientology’s controversial New York City Rescue Workers Detoxification Project. Meanwhile, über-Scientologist Tom Cruise sits on the board of Usher’s foundation, which tries to assist “underserved communities” through social programs.

This is getting out of hand. First getting married to old broads, then joining the weirdo Scientology cult…Usher say it ain’t so.

Now that the ring is on the finger and they’ve walked down the aisle, Usher is moving out of his house. According to People.com, Ursh’s 5 bedroom 4 1/2 bathroom house complete with a hair salon, is on the market for 1.95 million dollars. Maybe they are moving to a new house for all the babies. Too bad mom mom won’t be coming to visit.

Usher hit up Ellen DeGeneres’s show to talk about his new wife, unborn baby and new cologne.

Usher and Tameka Foster held a formal marriage ceremony over the weekend at the luxurious Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, a 16th-century-style French chateau set on 3,500 acres of rolling hills outside Atlanta. Of course, the lady Tameka claims she is on good terms with, Jonetta Patton, did not come support her son’s wedding to Tameka.

TV host Byron Allen got married to producer Jennifer Lucas on Saturday. The couple who met in 2001 told People about the wedding:

“He’s my best friend,” says Lucas. “He makes me laugh and he’s the smartest man I’ve ever met. We can’t wait to have a family.”

Adds Allen: “She’s magnificent and I’m very lucky.”

Newlyweds Usher and Tameka Foster attended the celebration for Jermaine Dupri’s opening of his new club Studio 72 outside of Atlanta, Ga. JD could not have been there without his boo, Janet, Miss Jackson if you’re nasty there for support. I’m not going to say that these are two good-looking couples, but I am going to say that they both look happy, and that’s what’s most important, right?

Word is that Usher and Tameka will have their official wedding this weekend in Atlanta.

After his recent wedding, Usher hit up Barack Obama’s birthday party. Usher says he and Tameka Foster are planning a bigger wedding later this year and wants to “prepare for the birth of our first child.” First??????

Some media outlets got it wrong, Johnetta skipped the wedding and was at the Spa! Johnetta is old enough to know what a crazy woman looks like.
