Officers who responded to Isiah Thomas’ home after a 911 call reporting an overdose on sleeping pills found a man passed out on the floor and gave him oxygen until an ambulance arrived, are sticking to their story. Authorities have not publicly identified Thomas as the victim, but a person familiar with the case, speaking on condition of anonymity because the official police report has not been released, has confirmed it was the former NBA star and Knicks coach. On Tuesday, Harrison Police Chief David Hall provided new details about last week’s emergency in which officers were handed a bottle of prescription pills at Thomas’ Westchester County home, according to ESPN.com. Hall said the bottle had a name on it, but he would not disclose the precise medication. He said police called the overdose accidental because there was no suicide note and no indication the victim suffered from depression. ESPN.com’s Henry Abbott reported that the medication was the prescription drug Lunesta. Hall continued to criticize Thomas for not acknowledging he was treated for the overdose and for saying it was teenage daughter, Lauren, who had a medical issue. “As parents, you try to protect your kids; you don’t say they did something when it was you who did it,” Hall said. “We know the difference between a 47-year-old man and a teenager.”
It’s becoming quite clear that he not only makes terrible decisions but is at heart an awful person. Who lies and says that their kid overdosed? A terrible person.

A cop pulled a gun on rap mogul Sean (Diddy) Combs during a routine traffic stop in Los Angeles, authorities said Sunday. A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy briefly brandished his weapon at Combs on the Sunset Strip after cops pulled over a car driven by a member of his entourage.
“A deputy pulled his firearm, fearing for his safety,” said a sheriff’s department spokesman. “The situation was deflated as quickly as it began.” Combs spokeswoman Keesha Johnson said the cop did not pull the gun directly on the rapper, and stressed that the officers were “really respectful.”
The trouble started when a member of Combs’ entourage was stopped at 3:15a.m. Saturday after cops noticed the rental car he was driving didn’t have proper tags. The deputy called for backup after two cars stopped nearby as the deputy searched the vehicle, police said. One member of the group was detained when he became uncooperative, prompting six or seven others – including Combs – to advance toward the deputy, a source said. The driver was not issued a ticket because the car was a rental, and nobody was hurt in the incident, police said.

While exiting a train Bournemouth [UK] station recently, Rapper Nzube Udezue, 21, a University of Oxford graduate, was ordered to lie face-down and was handcuffed by armed police. In this case of this mistaken identity, the police surrounded him and treated him like a high level threat. In his words:
“It took me a couple of seconds to realise that it was me that all those guns were aimed at. “I honestly felt like I’d stepped off the train and into a really bad dream.
“I’m shocked, confused, scared and embarrassed all at the same time.”Most of the bystanders had vacated the platform by now, by police order.
“And I’m not talking about normal police either. This is the Specialist Firearms Unit, about eight of them, machine guns, bullet proof vests, police dogs and all. “And they’re here to arrest me!”
Allegedly, Udezue was told that he was being arrested on suspicion of a “section one firearms incident”. He’s lucky to be alive. If that same shyte went down here in the good ole U.S. of A., those pigs would’ve shot him down before he even got his foot on the damn platform. SMH.
