Janet Jackson and mini-boo Jermaine Dupri have gone public with their intention to start a family together. JD was spotted at a dinner party in West Hollywood over the weekend. When asked about he and Janet’s baby plans, he said:

“‘Yeah, soon. Right after the tour.’ Jackson recently announced she’ll be on the road this fall. The 42-year-old pop icon, who has been married and divorced twice, once quipped that she was ‘allergic to marriage.’ Dupri is reportedly so excited to procreate with Jackson, he doesn’t care if it’s a boy or a girl. ‘It really doesn’t matter, Janet would be a great mom. She was around so many brothers and sisters all her life, so she’s got to know what that is [like]. And her mom is a great mother.’”

Awww. How sweet. Pretty soon we can expect the pitter patter of pint-sized musical geniuses running amok. And speaking of happy couples. Timbaland and Monique Idlett tied the knot this weekend in a event of formal proportions. Click HERE to get the full scoop.

Sounds like congratulations are in order:

“Timbaland is to wed his publicist girlfriend in Aruba on June 19th, according to new reports. The acclaimed producer will exchange vows with Monique Idlett – his girlfriend of two years – in the south Caribbean region. A , ‘Guests are being told to be prepared to fly to Aruba on that date.’ Timbaland and Idlett have been engaged since last October 2007 and have a seven month old daughter.”

Ahh. Another day, another wedding – best o’ luck to ‘em.

Update: Acccording to US Magazine, Timbaland and Monique Idlett got hitched-wearing sweats no less – yesterday in Virginia. They are planning on having a formal ceremony in Aruba on June 22nd.

Times Union, a newspaper serving Albany and Saratoga, New York is reporting that some non-athletes may be involved in steroid use:

The names of R&B music star Mary J. Blige, along with rap artists 50 Cent, Timbaland and Wyclef Jean, and award-winning author and producer Tyler Perry, have emerged in an Albany-based investigation of steroids trafficking that has already rocked the professional sports world. Information has surfaced recently showing those stars are among tens of thousands of people who may have used or received prescribed shipments of steroids and injectable human growth hormone in recent years. Law enforcement officials have said they have no evidence in their sprawling multistate probe that customers, including Blige or other entertainers, violated any laws. Instead, they are targeting anti-aging clinics, doctors and pharmacists who prescribed the drugs. For many celebrities, the lure of hormonal drugs is their supposed, unproven anti-aging effects. Polow Da Don has something to say about his recent comments comparing Black and white women. Before we get to his response, lets rewind the track to some comments he made some time ago.

“I’m the ‘King of the White Girls,’” proclaims the 28-year-old producer who now goes by Polow Da Don. “My boys would give me junk about it, but [the white girls’] head game is on a different level.”

Now on to his response to the reaction of his most recent comments.

Oh definitely. It has nothing to do with me, these effects. I didn’t make this stuff up. Only thing where people got misled is that I said I prefer a White woman, and that’s not the case at all. Really, I date all types of women. It was a stage in my life when I started dating a lot of White women- that was just a stage in my life. Right now, I date girls I like. I don’t base it off of any shade or color when I meet a girl now. They linked my comments about the Black family and Black women with the “King of the White Girls” and [the fact that] I dated White girls. That’s where it all went wrong. So when I was comparing Black women to White women, that has zero to do with me dating White women. What I was saying was factual though. Ladies and gentlemen agreed, n****s and b******s got mad

For some reason, we think Polow is going to have a lot of Black women fans to make sure he sticks around like Timbaland. We have never heard of a producer being ‘Tayed’. Hit up AHH for the entire interview.
