Diddy likes to party like a blue blood:

“It seems P Diddy is going all Posh on us. The ‘Bad Boy’ megastar laid on CROQUET at his party to celebrate his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Beckhams were top of the guest-list for the lavish do, which was held at the 100-acre mansion of the 37-year-old rapper’s pal, entrepreneur Ron Burkle.

An insider at the $2million Hollywood Hills bash said: ‘It was fabulous. Paris and Nicky Hilton were playing croquet on the massive lawn with the likes of musician Randy Jackson and Ben Stiller. You’d never imagine such a posh game at a hip-hop star’s party. It was hilarious.’ Celeb guests were ferried to the affair in Cadillacs provided by their host.

And it looks like Mr Combs’ love life is looking up too, as insiders say he is back with ex-fiancee Kim Porter. The pair split after rumors of Diddy playing away. But a source at the unveiling ceremony on Friday said: ‘It seemed as if all was forgiven. Kim was getting all tearful and said, ‘that’s my man’ during his speech.’”

Of course Kim is by his side. It’s common knowledge that gold-diggers are the most forgiving bunch of b*%ches in the whole wide world. Show us a gold-digger, and we’ll show you a heffah that will put up with damn near anything.

Diddy wants to be the next big thing on the silver screen:

“‘I think that it’s important for me to mature and evolve as an artist,’ Combs [says] at the From Harlem to Hollywood! ceremony honoring his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. ‘I’m trying to get my Black Bruce Willis on.’ Despite being accustomed to A-list treatment, he’s looking forward to starting at the bottom of the acting totem pole. ‘I’m trying to get Michael Bay to shoot me, have a hot soundtrack,’ Combs said, ‘But I also realize I have a lot of work to do as an actor and I gotta prove myself.’”

He gets a Hollyweird Star before he works on developing improving his acting skills. Now ain’t that a b*tch. And what’s with the “Black Bruce Willis” ish? We could think of more than one successful black actor he can aspire to. We can’t knock the brotha’s ambition, but it sounds like he may need a reality check.

Well well well, look who Harlem shook his way to Hollyweird. Diddy is being honored with a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk Hall of Fame this Friday. He must be feeling all cozy inside about this one. Kudos to him, but it’s still bit of a mystery as to why he’s getting this honor – especially when we know it takes some Black actors years before they receive recognition. You gotta respect the man’s mogul game.

According to Diddy, Cassie is new and improved:

“Although pop star Cassie had a huge hit in 2006 with her single ‘Me and You’, critics and fans alike were appalled by her severe vocal challenges during a string of promotional performances on TV. Her label head, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, tells Billboard that Cassie has since stepped up her game and has songs on her sophomore album that will impress the haters.

Explaining Cassie’s poor performances during the promotion of her self-titled debut album, Diddy says: ‘I just don’t think she was ready. I think that we threw her into the spotlight without the artist development — that goes on with a lot of new artists. We pulled out, we took our time, we developed her for like, a year-and-a-half. People are just going to see her there and be like, ‘Wow, she’s really cocooned into a butterfly.’”

We’ll just have to wait and see on that one. So far, it looks like the f**kin for tracks approach is really working out for ole girl.

Tyra Banks, among others came out to support Janelle Monae, who is the newest addition to the Bad Boy family, at her performance last night in NYC. Here is what Diddy has to say about Janelle as an artist:

“Over the years, I’ve been blessed to work with some of the most influential artists in modern music – from Jodeci to Mary J. to Biggie – and there is no doubt in my mind that Janelle is the kind of artist that changes the game. She is a true visionary, with an original sound and a mesmerizing presence. I can’t wait to watch the future unfold for Janelle.”

Let’s just hope she doesn’t end up that all the rest of the Bad Boy artists.

Jamal Woolard and Naturi Naughton are set to play Biggie and Lil Kim in the upcoming film, “Notorious” which is currently being shot on location in NYC.

Casting these two is clearly a compliment, especially to Lil Kim, who has been looking straight boogly these days. With Derek Luke playing buck-tooth Diddy, it might as well be a damn fantasy tale.
