Charles Barkley recently weighed on the Imus situation:

CHARLES Barkley thinks Don Imus should have been suspended, but not fired, for insulting the Rutgers women’s basketball team. On last night’s “Boomer Esiason Show” on MSG, the NBA star said, “It was an insult to those young ladies. . . . He owed them an apology. I think a suspension was warranted.” Barkley criticized civil rights leaders for ignoring Imus’ insults against Jews, Asians and others. “Anytime something happens, you [media] guys have a magnet on Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, like they speak for all black people . . . which is unfortunate and unfair. Al and Jesse have said racist things before. I don’t think you can have selective prosecution . . . that’s not right, that’s not fair.”

If Imus would have cut Jesse or Sharpton a check in the back office, everything would have been fine. See what happens when you don’t want to be ho when it’s time to be a ho. Imus needs to talk to Don Juan or Kim Kardashian to be put on some of this pimp-ho game and how it works.

Snoop responding to Imus-related criticism regarding the women in his videos:

Who’s to say that these women in videos are ho’s? They are classy women, and if you really try to mack to them, they’ll tell you, “Well, I have a man” or “I’m not into that” or “I don’t do that.” Not every girl in the videos has sex with the rappers or lays out her body and does whatever the rapper says. A lot of these women do this as a means of modeling or being appreciated for their looks.

In response to the Imus controversy, Russell Simmons is scheduling at a “private” hip-hop meeting at Lyor Cohen’s crib (pictured above). Blood Diamond Russ disagrees with Al Sharpton’s latest efforts to wage a political Jihad against record companies promiscuously pushing “bitches, hoes, and drugs” in their lyrics. Blood Diamond Russ says:

“I’m not saying all rap is good. But most of what I hear from rappers is an honest depiction of what they know. The poet is just reflecting the truth of society.

In Russell’s world, Lyor’s crib is the perfect spot to address these issues, you have to throw the issues to people who really care. When is Blood Diamond Russ going to get impeached?

George Zimmerman To Appear In Court To Face 2nd Degree Murder Charges

George Zimmerman will be hauled into court to face second-degree murder charges Thursday — arrested 45 days after he killed Trayvon Martin and walked free. The charges against Zimmerman show prosecutors didn’t buy his claims of self-defense. Instead, they believe he intended to kill Trayvon. The Florida cops’ refusal to arrest Zimmerman when he killed the unarmed black teenager on Feb. 26 sparked a national civil rights crusade and a series of rallies, marches and petitions.

“It is the search for justice for Trayvon that has brought us here,” special prosecutor Angela Corey told a packed news conference in Jacksonville, Fla. “We did not come to this decision lightly. We do not prosecute by public pressure, nor by petition.” Zimmerman surrendered at the state police office in Jacksonville. He will plead not guilty at his initial appearance Thursday, his lawyer said.

Prosecutors are charging Zimmerman with second-degree murder, which carries a maximum sentence of life without parole. Legal experts had expected the lesser charge of manslaughter — an unintentional killing — especially in light of police officials’ insistence that Zimmerman should face no punishment at all. Legal experts said Corey’s decision to hit Zimmerman with murder charges could give prosecutors — or a jury — leeway.

“By charging second-degree murder she gives herself flexibility in plea negotiations to come down to manslaughter – and gives the jury options to consider if the case results in a trial,” said David Weinstein, a criminal lawyer based in Miami. On Tuesday, Zimmerman’s two former attorneys held an extraordinary news conference to announce they were quitting because they had had no contact with Zimmerman since Sunday.

Sharpton hailed the arrest of Zimmerman, but cautioned against celebration. “We do not want anyone high-fiving tonight. This is not about gloating, this is about pursuing justice,” he said. “They have lost their son.”

Hopefully this azzhole will get the maximum sentence.

R.I.P. Trayvon.

I’m sorry.  That’s the place where I need to begin.  My feeling of remorse.  I ain’t never written a blog before, so putting my thoughts down on paper is a challenge – however it’s a challenge I must face.   I can look a 250 pound linebacker in his eyes at the line of scrimmage and have no fear.
