Bossip has exclusively learned that Captain Ne-Yo needs help to get the business. Here’s what our source says went down at a recent event:

“He’s really cool, but he’s slick. He has his FEMALE assistant try to pick up girls. They make all those people [assistants] do really random stuff. I saw him send her over to a group girls to get numbers for him. They could have been interested, but I’m not sure because they were laughing. They walked over to where we were standing and I overhead them talking about it.

This may actually plant the seed of doubt into the minds of those who think that buddy boy is a true fudgepacker. On the other hand, it could just as easily solidify those beliefs. You decide.

Rumor has it that RiRi and Breezy are looking at Ne-yo like Obama was looking at Joe The Plumber:

Friends of low-key couple Chris Brown and Rihanna are learning their lesson! R&B singer Ne-Yo opened up to the UK’s Sun newspaper about the private couple on Oct. 13 saying, “At first I did question whether it was real, but I’m good friends with both of them and I know that they are in a genuine relationship.” Since then the hit maker, who wrote 20-year-old Rihanna’s hits Unfaithful and Take a Bow, is a mite miffed. “I heard recently they were a little upset with me,” Ne-Yo, 29, told OK! at the Vacheron Constantin event in NYC on Oct. 22. As for forcing Rihanna and Chris, 19, out of the romance closet? “I’ve never done anything of the sort,” he told us. “I think it might be pictures of them kissing that makes people think that.”

Let’s see here, he called Breezy tart and said his relationship with RiRi might not be real… but claims he’s good friends with them? Despite the fact that he’s right about the kissy face pics, Neyo is as suspect as a leather ‘fit in July to call them out like that. We hope this doesn’t come to blows, but who do you think would win in a scrap between musty Breezy and fish-mout’ Ne-yo?

Bossip: Out of the three celebrities given, you have to choose one to “do” one to “marry” and one to “cast away to a remote island”. Celebs – Beyonce, Jada Pinkett Smith, Nia Long

Neyo: Well, Beyonce’s already married so…we would cast her away to Jay Z’s remote island. Jada Pinkett is married too, so I wouldn’t do her. So, I’d “do” Nia long.

Bossip: Name your favorite curse word, and use it in a sentence.

Neyo: My favorite curse has always been f*ck. I don’t know why, just the way it rolls off the tongue. As in – If John McCain wins the election, we’re f*cked.

Bossip: What’s your most recent embarrassing moment?

Neyo: I was doing a show in New York and I fell into the orchestra pit that was in front of the stage in front of a lot of very important people. The radio people, they talked about it for weeks.

Bossip: If you were invisible what celebrity would you stalk?

Neyo: Probably Alicia Keys…. because, I love her.

Ne-Yo wants to change the world:

Ne-Yo real name Shaffer Smith says that he has ladies on his case for a date but has to work out their true motives before he agrees to date them. Ne-Yo tells USA Today newspaper, “One of the uncool things about this business is that with every woman I meet, I have to ask myself, is she into me – that is, Shaffer – or is she into Ne-Yo? Luckily, I’ve become a pretty good judge of character. (I want a woman) who can love a man, but doesn’t need him.” Ne-Yo also added that his new album Year of the Gentleman has a specific aim “to get men and women to go, ‘I can do better than that’. A woman can do better than waiting on a man to buy her a drink. A man can do better than putting on a pair of jeans that’s seven sizes too big. I’m not saying this album’s going to change the world, but it will definitely give you something to think about.”

We agree with Ne-Yo, by all means…but in this world of scaliwags and whore-mongers, it might take a little more than a Ne-Yo album for mfers to get it together.

Ne-Yo was granted over 700K for his lawsuit against R. Kelly:

The R&B star has scored a nice payday for being dumped from R. Kelly’s road show last year. A Los Angeles judge has ordered Kelly’s promoter to pony up $700,320 to the “Because of You” Grammy winner. Superior Court Judge Malcolm Mackey made his default judgment after Georgia-based Rowe Entertainment refused to respond to the lawsuit filed by Ne-Yo under his real name, Shaffer Smith. Per his suit, Ne-Yo was supposed to earn $785,000 on the 25-date jaunt, but the 25-year-old performer was canned by Rowe after the second show on Nov. 15 and only received a fraction of the contracted amount. At the time, the promoter blamed the dismissal on Ne-Yo’s camp for not completing the proper paperwork. There was no immediate comment from either Ne-Yo or Rowe on the judge’s ruling. Kelly was not named as a defendant in the suit.

Although he was not the ‘defendant’ in this one, it’s about time the Pied Pedo’s skating ass camp had to pay up for something.

We were the first to exclusively tell you the Ne-Yo was arrested for reckless driving back in February, and he just went to court for it Monday:

Grammy winner Ne-Yo has a word of advice for drivers: “Watch your speed when driving through Atlanta.” He should know. He uttered those words as he left Cobb State Court on Monday after pleading guilty to failing to get a Georgia license and no contest to reckless driving. As part of a plea deal, Ne-Yo will perform a concert for the Boys & Girls Club in Cobb. Cobb County police clocked the singer-songwriter’s Range Rover at 105 mph in a 55 mph zone when they pulled him over on Feb. 19 on South Cobb Drive and Cobb Parkway. He told police he’d lived in Georgia for a year. “I was trying to get somewhere in a awful hurry, and I got pulled over.”

What the hell was he trying to get to that fast? SMH at him doing 105 on a non-highway and only having to sing to children for it. Some fu*king punishment that is, must be nice.
