Nas, never afraid to speak his mind, blasted Messy Jesse for making that infamous out of pocket statement:

“I think Jesse Jackson, he’s the biggest player hater. His time is up. All you old n****s, time is up. We heard your voice, we saw your marching, we heard your sermons. We don’t wanna hear that s**t no more.

“It’s a new day. It’s a new voice. I’m here now. We don’t need Jesse; I’m here. I got this. We got Barack, we got David Banners and Young Jeezys.

“We’re the voice now. It’s no more Jesse. Sorry. Goodbye. You ain’t helping nobody in the ‘hood. That’s the bottom line. Goodbye, Jesse. Bye!”

But he had nothing but kind words for Kanye West and Lil Wayne:

“I think Kanye West saved rap. I think Lil Wayne is showing there is a future for all kinds of artists to continue doing this.”

Kanye responds to those anger management rumors in his blog:

Do yall remember when people said my fiance was pregnant???? What happened to that rumor????? I guess after we broke up it was just forgot about???? I’m just using that as an example of how people make up stuff and everybody runs with it. I had my own family asking me about that. Now the media is saying I’m going to anger management something or ‘nother. I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!! lol! I get off the plane in Hawaii today and the world is saying my management team said blah blah blah… SIIIIIIGGGHHHH! I told the media you can’t make up lies about me because I have a media outlet myself. Oh and sidebar I don’t know if everyone has realized this yet but I don’t do interviews if there’s anything I wanna say I’ll say right here on my own blog.

Word is Kanye West’s managament team is strongly encouraging him to work on getting a hold of himself:

According to Chicago Sun Times columnist Bill Zwecker, West is being asked to tame his temper in order to be more attractive to potential advertisers. He writes, “A West insider tells me the entertainer’s own management team dreamed up the idea, for two reasons: to help his personal psychological well-being and relationship with friends — and to aid in him snaring lucrative endorsement deals.”

Two major companies are reportedly interested in working with Kanye – including an auto company and a cosmetics/fragrance firm. However, the corporations are concerned about “how easy he’ll be to work with.” And the anger managment isn’t just about business. Apparently, West’s tantrums have harmed his personal life as well. “Not only has Kanye estranged himself from some pretty important people in the music business, but his temper has driven away a number of longtime friends,” Zwecker’s source said.

Peep Mos Def and his estranged wife Alana Wyatt during happier times. Now the former stripper is writing a tell-all which implicates him as a wife beater. She starts by reminiscing on how they became close:

“He had asked me if I would attend a MuchMusic performance featuring Kanye West. Now, that was a little awkward because a year prior I had met Kanye in Vegas and we had a moment! NOT SEXUAL! I REPEAT, KANYE WEST and I NEVER have had sexual relations,” she emphasises in the book. She adds: “Much to my surprise, Mos introduced me as his wife.” The next day, August 17, 2005, the pair were married at Toronto City Hall. In the wedding photos included in the book they look happy and sober. “There were stories that we may have been on drugs when we go married…..it was true honest love at first sight.”

Dr. Jan Adams is living a slipping down life:

“The plastic surgeon who operated on rap star Kanye West’s mom the day before she died was busted for drunken driving early yesterday – his third such arrest since 2004, cops said.

Dr. Jan Adams, 54, was driving his 2004 Jaguar south in the northbound lanes of a highway near Benicia, Calif., when freaked-out drivers reported him at 2:41 a.m., authorities said. Adams, of Laguna Beach, was taken to Solano County Jail to await arraignment Monday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08% or higher and driving with a suspended license.”

And according to TMZ, he lost his medical license for failure to pony up child support payments. It’s pretty much curtains for ole for the Shady Dr. Adams. Pathetic.

Word is Kanye pissed off a whole lot of fans last night:

“West was supposed to start his gig at Bonnaroo at 2:45 a.m. yesterday morning, and when he didn’t show up until 4:25, the crowd got on him, chanting ‘Kanye sucks’ and throwing glow sticks on stage. The delay, according to reports, was caused by K’s big stage set, which took a while to throw up after Pearl Jam’s appearance. As it happens, a lot of fans just couldn’t keep it up for Kanye – and ended up asleep in their sleeping bags.”

This type of ish is starting to be a recurring theme for buddy boy. But seriously, this cat must have some bona fide loyal fans if they were willing to wait around ’til the break of dawn to see him perform.

And speaking of Kanye: Our suspicions were true. According to a casual statement made by the NY Post, Kanye is in fact dating Selita Ebanks. We wish ‘em the best of luck ’cause with Lil Miss Fo’head’s track record, they’ll need it.

The Victoria’s Secret hottie partied with Kanye West, who recently split with his fiancée, at Tenjune Saturday night. They were spotted trying to sneak out together late that night after dining upstairs. Awww – Diddy got all up close and personal in a new video “confession” where he thanks Kanye West for helping him fall in love with hip-hop again.

“The other night, I go to the Kanye West concert … [I have] nothing but high expectations,” Diddy says. “Concert changed my life. I ain’t gonna lie. I was so impressed and inspired. It was beautiful, man – and I fell in love with hip-hop again.
